By the looks of things, the events of 2007 were much more dangerous than last year, and yet there were 30% fewer arrests in 2007.
Absolutely right mate, I was at Otago in the early 1990s when the undies first started, and channel 4 (or was it 3 then) turned up and asked students to start throwing bottles so they could get it on camera. Hell, most students turned up to the riot because they were watching it live on TV.
