guys u knw santander is spainish bank nd dey sposnor ferrari team nd they said 2 ferrari kick kimi nd go wid alonso ,,,datz y kimi was out frm ferrari bt he might return in f1 with williams team in 2012....
I am 16 years old and i started to watch f1 in 2000-2001, i can't remember very well. At that time, i thought the italian anthem which is played after the driver's anthem was the anthem for f1.Ferrari was winning everything, that's why i thought that.
@crysis001villa My first GP that i watched full length was the Monaco Grand Prix 2003 and I was 9 years old at that time. Stopped watch in 2005 because after 2004 I got so fanboyish of Schumi... I just wish I could have regretted the way I stopped watching F1.
@TheAdams2006 But year it was the opposite situation..unfortunate for Massa also in the drivers championship compared to Hamilton..where Kimi won by 1 point,Massa lost it by 1 point....and not only that but in the very last corner.I felt so bad for him at that moment, especially because that was propably his only chance to win the championship and he would have deserved after driving in F1 much longer than Hamilton, who still got many years ahead of him, even though he hasnt got much succes after
this guy really the ICEMAN. So cool and calm and composed inspite of being World Champion! If Hamilton had won his title like a champion (by finishing on the podium), we probably would have jumped right into the crowd.
@Corsacu Which is a shame, because Raikkonen would be destroying Alonso in the same car.
I think his motivation would have returned with the opportunity to destroy Fernando. He could very easily have been champion in 2010. He certainly wouldn't have sat behind Petrov all race in Abu Dhabi.
@666MetaL4eveR666 what exactly has he done to cheat, which he hasn't been penalised for? Alonso and Ferrari have got away with loads in their careers, so don't accuse Hamilton for cheating when your clearly jealous that he was so quick, even in his rookie year
The whole cheat-thing is annoying. Every driver in F1 who wants to be a success have to be willing to bend the rules and be controversial at times. Alonso did it, Hamilton did it, Vettel, Schumacher and in the past, Prost, Senna, Piquet, Mansell.. It's part of F1. Saying that a certain driver isn't guilty of all this would be incredibly naïve.
this is the best version of the italian anthem. in 2010 the way the italian anthem is played is HORRIBLE!!! I like the 2009 and past versions of the italian anthem .
i watched whole race live and exited to very last moment will he win the title. I'm from Finland and very happy that we got at least one world champion again.
3rd Finnish World Champion in F1!We rule in Motor sport pretty good..And Finland has only 5.3 million ppl. Nico Rosberg's father Keke is Champion too and he is Finnish..When Nico wins the title,we have 3 and half Champion.. =) Go Finland! Now i hope Vettel!
@Makaronimano Nonsense - I'm afraid that the British rule motorsport. Always have - always will. If you look at their record compared to the size of their country it really is quite incredible.
@PMDGpilot737 actually, we have 60,000,000. but F1 is a minority sport. more people play bowles than do do motorsport of any kind. It is very much near the bottom of the list.
Remarkable... after so many podiums Alonso doesn't know where the 3rd spot is... or did he wanted to say, that's the difference between 3rd in the championship and being world champion by looking at the 2nd spot on the podium?
Kimi was the man! He wasnt such a cry baby like Massa, He always knew what he can do and what not... so honest guy. What a bad ass driver, he had respect for other drivers, but he never licked their asses...
whether you love him or you hate you cant deny that NOBODY deserved that title 2007 more than him. after he's gone through so much bullsh*t with mclaren, all the accidents, all the failures,... he really deserved it!
Kimi was not kicked out. He was bought out by Santender who payed Ferrari lots of money that they take cheat Alonso into Ferrari and we saw it now. He lost title again and Kimi can be proud that he at least won his title with style and fair play.
@Trolodon It was a mutual understanding between him and ferrari. I am a kimi fan but in fairness to alonso, he is not a cheater. that fag flavio briatorre is.
indeed :) I remember this, we were in some pub in Helsinki, everyone was yelling and screaming "HYVÄ KIMI!!!!! IHANAA!!!!!!" and people crying of joy and whole Finland was happy. It was absolutely great :D
@droidbait Mort propably yes :D No, honestly there were many who weren't interested at all and said that Kimi didn't deserve it. I think it's pretty ridiccolous but in Finland it seems to be okay to say something like that O_o
At the end of the day, it will always be 95%car 5% driver, just as quoted by Juan Manuel Fangio. The F60 just doesn't have the pace this year, despite the win at Spa. Once we move to the warmer circuits, Brawn will get up.
hes not leaving. he said in one interview last week that he doesnt know why everyone is worrying about his future in f1 2010 couse he has a contract with ferrari.
and i dont believe ferrari would break it after today for alonso or massa
It' s a crying shame if he leaves F1 GP for good. He's a great driver. All he needs this year is motivation like the one he had in 2007. But if he does want to go, he'll go. He's a type of person who will do what he's intended to do and no one can force him not to. But still... we'll miss him as well, won't we?
It's a shame that Kimi's performance has gone downhill since winning his championship. He's been brilliant his entire career. Always losing out because of bad luck. He finally nails the championship that he deserves, then starts to fall. I hope he hasn't lost his drive to win another championship.
we should probably get used to this national anthem as kimi is back
