a warbird is not the best choice for a n00b pilot

you need to get a high wing plane for more stability and glide performance at low speeds

those warbirds dont tend to have good glide performance and will drop a wing or nose if the flight speed is too low

a hobbyzone super cub or aerobird will be an ideal choice and dont fall apart easily on the first few bumpy learner flights
