People have to remember that the military and the paramilitary organizations like the police department require their members to be a little tough and aggressive. These are our guard dogs of the streets. We NEED them to be like pitbulls. I would not want to have a police officer patrolling my block to have the demeanor of a priest or a pacifist otherwise the street thugs would run the streets. I do,however, agree that my pitbull should not be fat like this one.

The thing is, tax breaks could help create jobs, but it does not guarantee it considering corporations already make plenty of profits off their current levels of production. And they don't feel the need to make new investments in innovation for the same reason, they are already making millions. They don't feel the need to give people jobs, that would just cost them.

Right. Hence the need to shift a greater portion of the tax burden onto higher brackets, and the need to think of ways for the people earning less than, say, $200K a year to increase the amount of money they can safely spend.
Economic recovery is going to depend on what happens to the middle and lower classes. The folks on top of the heap aren't the ones who help the economy; they're the ones who help themselves.

There is the handful of Anonymous terrorists in the fray however, who want nothing anarchy and chaos. If it weren't for Anonymous being involved in this and there being no real leadership or planning, I would be there. Change does need to happen, but not through violence. Sux for the cause because people like me can really help.

Thousands of teachers have been laid off, prison guards, crossing guards, fire-fighters and night stick wielding buddy even POLLICE officers - ALL are being cut. And it is happening in every state more or less across the nation. And the impact on our society is going to last a long, long time.
