Very funny! And her book is very funny, too. The Latter Day Saints have always been something of a mystery to me. I like hearing her talk about her experiences and her thoughts.
What if you were honest with yourself and said you don't know if what the church says is really true, and thought your own thoughts with your own good mind, and left the non-earthly-life stuff to nature?
That's funny cause I actually went to work on Halloween as CNA-man. I could totally see her spilling chocolate pudding on herself and me running over, putting on glove, cleaning her with disposable wipes, putting barrier cream on her, then wrapping her up in a diaper.
This story makes me happy I left Mormonism years ago as a single woman in a NYC ward--that's *church* ward, not *mental* ward; although they're close.
As a victim of Singles Ward events, I want everyone to understand that this story is sadly not an exaggeration of said events in anyway. Bless their hearts.
I also loved the This American Life story. What a great storyteller!
