I just bought this and it can run on batteries as well haha does everything. def good if the power goes of haha and its hooked up to my speakers and it sounds awesome and the case is awesome. Im very happy with this for playing my Vinyl records for my Dorm Room and i bought it at Newbury comics for $106 def worth my money

hi, Im trying to use the EZ converter that this comes with but the converter only records from my mac's built-in mic... not from the turntable itself... do you know any solution to this?

Do you have any info on hooking up a cassette player to this? I'd like to transfer some cassettes. Does this work for that?

After watching this, I ordered one from woot. Have wanted one for a long time but wondered if a regular turntable might work with roxio. All things concidered, turntable and software, it's too easy to go with the Ion and skip the fiddling around with my component record player.

i would not recommend it unless you plan on ruining your records. There isn't really a usb turntable built I would deem suitable for scratching. I say get a used technics or buy a ttx from numark.

Are there any USB turntables good enough for quality listening as well as archiving/converting?

I definitely want to get a usb turntable so I can have digital and analogue but I want it to be good enough to listen to vinyl at home too.
