The whistling sounds like a vlsd that's going bad or needs fluid notice that it only happens when it's locking i'n the beginning of the drift to the middle when the diff opens it stops ie at the end of the drift that and I drive the same car same motor with vlsd

i think its one of those things that go in your exhaust. and its upposed to sound like a turbo not 100% sure tho

@Markitos203 you dont use diff fluid after you weld the diff. there are no more moving gears, therefore lubrication is not needed.

It is a welded differential. Meaning both tires spin at the same speed like how an LSD works, except all the time since the gears are welded.

If your using the car as a daily driver, please just go ahead and buy an LSD.

It is much more forgiving in traffic and will last alot longer.

A friend of ours welded it for us.

The whistling noise is from a hole around where the muffler was welded.

We found it hilarious enough that we decided to leave it like this till the LS1 Swap will be completed.
