i LOVE crepes and one of my favorite restaurant is Le Crepery, but I've never actually considered making some on my own. Chef Anne- you'e inspired me to do something out of the ordinary for myself :) Love it
@carlsjr123 Actually, crepe is a French word. Her pronunciation is more correct/authentic as she is approximating the correct French pronunciation of the word, where the vowel sound is like the "e" in the American English word "set". Her "r" sound isn't quite French enough, but hey, it's better than the way most Americans pronounce it.
@carlsjr123 She's speaking in English, dumbass, therefore the S is pronounced. Is it not enough that she pronounces it the French way and not the American way? Get over yourself. Also, she's the one with over two decades of culinary education, not you.
In any case, I would rather say it the American way. If you're gonna say it wrong, might as well go all out. I hate the pretentious "French" pronunciation people can't even pull off. I've taken French, and I can say it right, but choose not to.
she makes it look so easy.
