As it was a few years ago (Saber turns 10 this yr) I couldn't say but he did pick it up very quickly.

Hahaha-thats the life, just stand there on that thing and get fed treats-haha! REminds me of my hamster, i cuddle with her everynight (after she gets up for the night and just before i go to bed-tming is perfect), and she'll sit in my arms and yawn and look so cute-what a life!

No, while they appear similiar in height the Miniature Horse weighs about 75lbs more.

No clicker had been used for these two. Sadly Eagle (the Great Dane) is no longer with us but we do have other.

Last year I did pick up a extention wand clicker and played with it a little with Saber and he took to it quickly but I didn't as I like having free hands :)

That's not a worry. Saber is a very smart mini.

He knows target is the trick just as down, stay & sit are.

And yes I do say good sit, good down, good stay.

Good means yes and the action repeats what he's doing.

Your videos just reassure how intelligent mini's can be. There's a reason they use mini's as "seeing-eye ponies" to aid the blind. If you get one that has the will to learn, they can be taught anything. Saber is a handsome little man and seems very fat and happy. My thoroughbred likes candy hearts, too. :)
