  • Selling a Marshall MBB 150 watt Message me for more infomation!

  • I had Stagg, Laney RB7, Gallien-Krueger 250RB, Gallien-Krueger Backline 600 and now a Marshall MB4210. Even Stagg was more reliable than Marshall, if you want to spend a lot of your time repairing the amp, then go ahead and get yourself a Marshall MB4210.

  • @ManagerRadoslav The first few batches of these were awful, so Marshall has really cleaned their acts up! The new ones are decent (but imho not great) Marshall guitar amos are still awesome. But Marshall hasn't made good bass amp heads since the 93. The VBA I don't know much anout, some people really like it and i know the 412 cab is good but don't know much else. Tried one of these and didn't like the classic channel (though i see why one might it's smooth and warm) but didn't likt it overall!

  • Extension cab??? 4x10 or 4x15?

  • buy the Fender Rumble cheaper and better believe me, I was thorn between the rumble and the marshall mb but I bought the rumble and I don't regret it a bit. And I played them both for a bith

  • I think Marshall should stick to making guitar amps.... in this case, I really was just paying for the name... totally over priced.

  • I regret buying this amp... you get a LOT of buzz off it when you're not playing, unless you really turn down your bass.... there is a lot of clicking too.. I used it to record once, and regret it; you can hear the click on here too. It doesn't cut through at all in my opinion... just loud and not nice to listen too. Way too low end, and as for finding a tone you like- I haven't found one that sounds good in a band situation, at all!! It's really just a bassier version of a guitar amp.

  • can i hook this to an acoustic b100

  • about the compressor 'loud click'. It can be frustrating with fingerstyle but durring slap or klang style playing it can be nice addition if you learn how to use it ;)

  • @MonolithicDanger I have mb4410 and I tune my bass to low A, amp still handle it very well but I think it could be much better with 15 inch speaker added.

  • The 210 version?

  • mine keeps over heating..

  • Me thinks the 4x10 version with another 4x10 cab will do me nicely!

  • is this worth 500 dollars? i need some input im thinking about getting it 4 that price.

  • hey does anybody know if I can combine a marshall MBC410 4x10 reflex cab with with the Gallien Krueger MB200 200 watt head??? i dont have a ton of money for an amp and i kind of need a new amp so ya

  • @savinhill94 Yes, you can, but you wont be able to add another cab with it as the marshall is a 4 ohm cab and the GK can't support a 2 ohm load

  • I used to play a Marshall 100 watt stack for bass back in 1996. It had two cabinets with a 15 inch speaker per cabinet and a 100 watt head. That amp was amazing. I played the talent show in my schools gymnasium and I had too take away one cabinet because you could not hear the drummer. Marshall makes awesome bass amps.

  • @djaktube this is the best combo i've used to date......awesome sound and power for the right price as well, either it being for practice or for gigging....a solid piece of kit with a great range of sounds dude.....the only downfall is the compressor which is a bit clicky......apart from that it punches well above its wieght!!! if you haven't bought one yet.....go out and get one...enjoy:)

  • I've used a 30 watt version I believe, it was awesome. I thought just putting it in classic and all the knobs at 12 o'clock made a great tone

  • i actually have the 410 version of this amp. It sounds great and you could get various tones. you just have to sit down and take time to switch the knobs to get the perfect configuration you want. You can make it sound like a Behringer to an swr or an ampeg. however, there are a couple of problems i encountered on my amp. I use it more as a gig amp and i seem to change the tube bulb every 8 months or so.. on the contrary, it's a really great amp because of its tonal capacity and price.

  • @Gelen26 do u know if i can hookup a gallien kruger head to a 410 cab???? because i dont have the money to buy the head that is this model

  • @savinhill94 you can use whatever amp head together with the cab. however, just make sure that the speaker has a greater wattage than the head. if the cab you have has 600 watts @ 4 ohms, then you can absolutely connect the 700RB or 400RB Gallein-Kruger which is about 450 watts at 4ohms? so, enjoy. i'm sure you'll be able to get great sounds for that combination

  • not a bad video but why is your voice twice the volume of the amp? turn the amp up!

  • That's the bad thing about Gearwire videos .... this smug bearded idiot.

  • i have had this combo for over a year now and it is still the best sounding combo for its price.......i got asked to turn down by the manager of a club cos it was vibrating the pint pots off the shelf!!!!

  • @spikemckenzie So it is a good amp ? I looking for good amps and just found this one :)

  • Would the marshall MB30 sound good for classic rock like LED ZEPPLIN, BEATLES ?

im looking for a classic sounding rock bass amp around £50.00-200 any suggstions ?

  • @emobible

I think you should buy a acoustic bass amp. When john paul jones played with zeppelin he played with acoustic. I can send you a link if you want.

  • I have the half stack version of this bad boy and it slays! ESP 205 emgs this thing and it kills for heavy metal tones. nothing better than that classic channel. \m/

  • I've got the MB450H and the 4x10 Marshall cabinet. It's pure Power! I like the sound. the 2 channels are really different (like it should be) the transistor channels is crystal clear, and the tube preamp is fat and dirty.

For metal and rock, I mostly use the Tube Preamp and a pick for my Warwick bass.

For all the other stuff I use the Clean Transtot preamp, and don't use a pick!

I think its a good deal, really good Price/Quality conditions.

  • How much did it cost you ?

  • It cost about 850€

450€ the Head and 400€ the cabinet.

and another thing: you don't have to overdireve the classic channel. The cleans sound of the classic channels is very great. I don't overdrive it.

  • yer man i have a MB450H and i was amazed how good it was for £300 and i use a ampeg 4x10 cab and soon i will have a 1x15 hiwatt cab

  • a friend of mine has the 1x15 with only 150watts and it kicks ass. but as the guy in the video says: the compressor sucks. but then again the classic channel sounds better for rock anyway.

  • So why do you think its shit? Explain a bit more.

  • i have the 15 watt version of this amp and i love it my only complaint with it is its obviously not worthy of a band situation. and u can get the mb450h and 1200 watt cab in this series for only 1200 bucks! thats a good buy

  • Doesn't sound so good for the money it costs. but oh well, that's marshall's style... they made great amps 20 years ago, and now they're living off the good name they made for themselves back then. but they're not too good now...

  • @ranger1944omaha to me it sound awesome, could you please explain a bit more what's wrong with them nowadays?? I'm about to buy the MB150 but if you gave me any reason why I shouldn't it would be nice. Thanks anyway.

  • @Kaloan91 well the thing is, you can get much better sounding amps for the money.

Marshall was a great brand 20 years ago. You know why people buy them? Because celebrities use them, many great guitarists. BUT. The thing with that is... they all have MODIFIED marshalls or custom made ones, not ones off the shelf. They sound a bit cheap and generally have low/average sounds, plus their price/quality ratio makes them just not worth it.

  • @ranger1944omaha Well, today i've test the mb150 in a shop and it sounds much better than other amps with more or less the same price. The thing is that people who know about this field are really disapointed because there's been a huge moving to China, Korea... but in fact the price/quality is still ok.

  • @Kaloan91 You see the thing is it's all a matter of taste, I found it quite useless for my style, It would be great but if you're in to metal. Works well with a p-bass.

  • @ranger1944omaha i have one and its really good but its going thro a ampeg cab so i dont know if its the cab but its a good amp

  • @blazon12 you get a pedal with the, mb150, mb4210, mb450h and MB4410, but if you a different one may work but there are only to things to switch.

    Hope this helps.

  • Wow, that classic setting is kick ass!

  • Can i use this pedal on this box ?

    Marshall PEDL-10009

    I have Marshall MB4410

  • i love it,i want it.

  • Hello there! I'm thinking about to buy a Marshall mb450h amp with a Marshall mbc410 + mbc115 cabs. Can somebody give me some advice? Does some of u has or has had this stuff?

    Thanks a lot!!!

  • it's a playing style. calm down

  • the bottom line is, how much :D

  • i think about 699.99

  • You can get them for £333.00

  • i just ordered 1 of these , coz i was sooooo sick of every1 else in my band having louder instruments then me lol

    hope its worth it

  • you should have killed em' by getting the 8X10" cabinet, lol

  • Great video, been searching to see this information in video form. Hope also to see with mbc115 somewhere. Lovely looking stack with mb4210 and mbc115. Cool. Cheers...

  • I just bought one of these amps. So far, so good. I had a Fender Rumble 210 , and I hated the non-adjustable compressor, and the lack of power. This amp is LOUD. Great features, and I can achieve almost any tone. I got a SCREAMING deal on it at Bananas At Large in San Rafael.

  • I don't like the fact that there is no Effect loop volume. I don't like the compressor either, too much cliping sound.

Is there any mods possible with this amp and witch cab would be a good addition to this combo?

  • I got this amps since last spring. I like the distortion given by the little tube in that classic preamp. But sometimes I ear some kind og wissle when the gain is down and the channel volume is up. I wonnder if I could easely upgrade the preamp tube in it so I can get better sound or at least just cut the wissle sound. Funny thing too, I found that my Highwayone Jazz bass sound weird in that amp but my Ibanez ATK got a killer sound in every channel.

  • try switching it to a 12au7 tube, more warmth
