  • This is nothing compared to the private airports. Try quick turning a gulfstream or global after loading bags into numerous cars and getting passengers on the way meanwhile throwing fuel in the tanks. Done in 20 minutes!

  • no wonder my luggage are beat to hell. they are in a rush

  • WHAT ABOUT MAINTENANCE!

  • she didnt have her p.p.e. on

  • very cool,liked,subscribed,keep em comin

  • Southwest, I love you but your paint scheme is an eye sore

  • Look up SouthWest (what really happens with bags)

  • 0:27 They cut out the part where the guy threw the bag LOL

  • im afraid to fly valuejet

  • @muszles Southwest has by far the best safety record of any US airline.

  • Hey! thats my bag! 2:05

  • Will you have an opening in Phoenix in a couple of years? Cause I'm so used to working in the heat, I'm Nuts.

  • i bet she gets fucked alot on that plane

  • as a swa airline employee we dont fuel our planes

  • they switch planes a couple times

  • Must be nice to have "teamwork" vs. the shit that most other ramp workers have to deal with at certain eastern us based airlines.

  • Miss the orange livery :(

  • i had just come from there and i remember seeing her

  • After 38 years of great service and NOT ONE crash or fatality, this speaks highly for this great American company and ALL of the employees.

By the way, that lady was gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @samthecat07 you might want to look up southwest flight 1248 in 2005. southwest airlines plane crashed and resulted in a fatality. also they where hit by the FAA in april of this year with lack of maintenance when they had a rupture in the top of a aircraft in the middle of a flight. dont get me wrong, southwest is a great airline, but you should research when you brag about something.

  • @Ps3Dino013 The plane went over the end of the runway and ended up in a chevron gas station killing someone in a car. So technically, SWA has no deaths of a passenger except for your typical old guy having a grabber mid flight.

  • @samthecat07 um, you must not have heard about the 2005 Midway crash which killed a little boy...

  • @ERAUPRCWA I don't think that counts as a crash from an NTSB perspective so much as an incident.

  • @pegasigirl2010 this was an accident, not an incident because as a result there was a fatality because of this. INCIDENT is relatively insignificant event that MIGHT have serious consequences. In incident there is no serious injury nor death but might be some damage involved. ACCIDENT is misfortune or mishap causing injury or death and damage as well. Thanks to Embry-Riddle, I have a minor in aviation safety.

  • @ERAUPRCWA Thank you for correcting me! I've only recently begun to study these terms in earnest, so I am prone to making a mistake on occasion. I appreciate the clarification.

  • I wonder if letting her mess around while the did the off loading and loading, they were still able to get those plane from the gate in under 25mins.

  • I love to fly with SWA ! Good service and free cookies/peanuts.

  • aeromexico takes 40 minutes on flights evolving 767 and it won the in time prize 11 years in row

  • 1:46-1:52 look at how that guy int he back loads the luggage, now i know why all my xbox games were broken :|

  • @memoerder hope you don't die

  • flying Southwest today :)

  • I feel bad for my former co workers at AirTran now that SWA bought them because I bet their gonna want those 717 turned in 15 mins witch is possible but not on a regular bases

  • @fuqwn, instead of paying mechanics they choose to pay outrageous FAA penalties/fines once or twice a year

  • @topdetox right?? I don't really wanna fly in a convertible plane. That is if the piece of shit can even get off the ground because i truly believe they don't even have a maintenance crew

  • huh aint that the truth... don't forget the fact that airplanes are not supposed to have sun roofs

  • I work at a major southwest influenced airport and I have seen first hand how shitty they are! Their operations is a joke, and the entire ramp crew has a combined iq of 5. 20 minute turn?? HAHAHAHA! Do you have any other jokes? The only 20 minute turn I've ever seen them pull off was a ferry flight and they could barely do that!

  • I spend a day or more with her, she;s hot

  • So Southwest Airlines employs pilots who would crash a plane full of people if they thought all twelve of the attendants were gay and if enough of the passengers were gay? I will NEVER fly your airline and I hope your homophobic bigoted antigay airline never makes another dime employing gaybashers like the pilot in question, whose name will eventually be found out.

  • shes hot

  • porter does it in 20

  • @KevinRobots

Porter loads 16 bags and 38 passenger per flight. They should do it in 10 minutes.

  • Pause at 0:33 thats Arizona One in the backround

  • @UpstairsClient By the way, those cracks were gonna happen regardless of the plane sitting on the ground doing nothing for an extended period of time. There is something called Wear-And-Tear... The more the plane flies the more the cabin is pressurized and depressurized. That causes Wear-And-Tear and if theres a weak part of the fuselage that pressurized air is gonna try to escape because its under pressure so it will keep pushing on that weak spot till it breaks obviously causing a breach.

  • @UpstairsClient You really sound dumb. Planes only make money when they are up in the air... if they are on the ground they make no money for the airline and thus become unprofitable. The Shorter the Turn-Around the more money they airline can make because they can do more flights and the plane will be sitting on the ground less and flying more. You are the dumb ass because everything your saying goes against air travel. The point is to be fast and convenient. Not slow and costly.

  • 26:00 wait on tarmac

    28:00 wait on tarmac

30:00 move 20 feet then, wait on tarmac

32:00 move 15 feet, wait on tarmac

35:00 the child behind you starts kicking your seat

38:00 wishing that you have your own personal particle transporter

  • 1:58 that sounded like a Nikon D3x with a very expensive objective... :D oh well...

  • Southwest Airlines suckz Delta is the airline to fly with.

  • What ever happened to the red, orange and gold paint scheme?

  • @Beanz920 got phased out, The might still have a few planes in their fleet with the old colors but I think they got all of them repainted

  • I love southwest airlines and their planes.=)

  • @UpstairsClient you must know nothing about Aviation if you say something like that...

  • Oh really? and why is that? what do you know about aviation punk?Southwest is the best airline in the US. SWA flies more people domestically than any other airline in the US....that must tell you something

  • I live in Baltimore!!! :D :D :D

  • I knew i shudda taken a right at Albuquerque! lol GO ABQ!!!

  • Albuquerque all the way!!!!!!!

  • lol

  • shes cute

  • =metra0808 no she is not!!!!!!!

  • @ichbindarren Dibs...

  • @ssmows6 Its on budy haha

  • Southwest is very safe and smooth. They may also take less time to prepare than some other airlines because they only fly the Boeing 737 series, while others mostly fly a little bit larger aircraft.

  • @abm92296 what do you mean by smooth. and alaska air also flys only 737's

  • @yoyoyoyoshua ik, but I was only generally speaking

  • 25mins? Doesnt sound safe. Unless your doing a DASH or a Beechcraft...

  • @ultras514 no... i think they know what they are doing and quick sometimes it takes 30 min but mostly 25.

  • is she hot or no?

  • @metra0808 I would hit it

  • did anyone notice there were two different planes in the video?

  • This video make's me wonder. What is WN going to do now that they have the 717...and if they'll takeover some of AT's routes...Like Key west.

  • @ 1:40...he better say that...

  • im 15, and im going to be a pilot for this airline one day!!!

  • Swa, is amazing, david holmes rapped to us! :) ill never forget last year in may <3

  • boo,boo.boo,boo!

  • this is so bull shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @metra0808 actually no

  • How is the Turnaround for them at MCO?

  • @fish4kbcf, true, but only 1 extra flight, I mean lets say a flight has four legs, thats 20 free minutes, enough for one leg, but, I guess that would pay off in the long run.... so never mind, you win :D lol

  • She was "riding" on a beltloader,a big safety NO NO.......

  • @chrisperg11 5 minutes off, big whoop?

  • @NemoRahul If every aircraft shaved 5 minutes off their turnaround time across Southwest's flight line think about the efficiency that would be gained.

  • and what? they do to you if you takes more than 25 mins

  • lol 10 minutes? was this at a downline stations, or hub? i still call bs. do you guys have like 50 people & 20 bags on a turn? were lucky to have 3 guys on a flight, and 2 are on the ground...the only thing that can speed up a turn is if you can load and unload the plane at the same time, every bag is there, and a lot of people. which is very rare.

  • I have been working for Norwegian Air Shuttle on the ramp. we do international flights at 25min an Domestic flights on 20min

  • i work at midway and it is true trust me i see this everday happening

  • I live in Albuquerque! :D :D :D

  • @NemoRahul diddo!

  • Yea - only chance - do all simultaneously - catering, fueling, cleaning, bording - until you get an emergency situation like fire in the cabin... will you be able to evacuate the plane through the remaining doors...??

  • @skysurfer007 Yeah, there's only 6 people on board.

  • I have turned I/B from PVD to BWI 111 off Outbound to JAX 120 on in 8min, granted 10 rampers, 3 ops agents and 3 CSA's!!!!!! Aircraft was a -300 and this was 7 years ago!!!!!

  • I am viewer # 140,000!!! WOOOOO

  • you cant safely -- following all proper procedures -- turn a decently filled flight on a 737 without taking shortcuts. its just not practical in terms of your life. i bet the 25 minute turn is based on a half filled flight or something.

  • @goodeffort They did it in 10.

  • Comment removed

  • 20 mins you must be speedy gonsalez friend

  • you must be speedy gonsalez twin to do it in 20 mins

  • 3:05 Silver One!

  • lol

    i love this airline

  • not gonna lie that looks like a slamming job

  • can anyone tell me where i can get the SWA Supply chain Flow chart?

  • Hoping to work Ramp next year here in the UK..good video

  • Im getting my pilots licenses in a couple of week!! I hope I'll get to be a pilot for southwest

  • 1:10, aha, knocking on the door.

    :P

  • 9,600lbs of fuel to BWI.. Wonder where they're shooting this video.

  • @ajcrw They said Albuquerque, KABQ. New Mexico.

  • i fly for a local company here in my home country, and we handle embraer 190s in as little as 25 mins, sometimes 20 mins. its such a rush that ends up really fast.

  • @josssse1234

i fly embraer 135's-such awesome a/c and yes we also have 20 min turn arounds and we have to pack uplifts and meals and clean and board pax-hate rushing!

  • At 0:35 its Arizona One and 3:08 its Silver One

  • Comment removed

  • Gotta say Jon took that incident very well, other passengers would have been furious...

  • Love Southwest, love the Sunport.

  • how can they turn in 25 minute turn if they take 20 min just to board i mean it takes about 10 min. to de board so that dont make any sence

  • forget the preflight inspection just hurry hurry and get that plane out .

  • SWA BEst out there. I wish i could work for them...

  • giggity

  • I wouldnt mind her unloading my bags if you know what im saying.

  • @SABlingBling Giggity, Gigitty-goo

  • @Flippy827 lol You can find find Quagmire at 2:50 checking out her "ASSets"

  • Im flying SWA next month:)

  • I WANT TO GO TO ALBUQUERQUE :'( lol my cousins live there.

  • Elliot from scrubs?

  • OMG you guys push saftey but you have this girl doing an unsafe action by riding the belt loader thats a no no

  • @vash469 just shove it in your vagina

  • @umahuma4 hey fuck face unlike you i work for this airline and know what procedures should be done and what shouldn't i was just giving the poster some shit cause in fact i ride the belt loader all the time you little fuck

  • @vash469 You cause bureaucracy in the workplace.

  • ok...for most of the video the aircraft is red, yellow and blue... but at 1:59 the colour scheme is different :O

is it supposed to be a different plane? i thought it was a 25 min turn on ONE plane

  • she is hot!!!

  • @ meganylaz hey I use to work ramp in Denver who are not to be rude or anything

  • I've always loved airplanes and aviation in general. It's cool to see Southwest do this kind of thing.

  • IM NUTS FOR SOUTHWESR :)

  • I saw a Mango turn around in like 19 minutes. But SouthWest is better than Mango, so...

  • ahhh.. the life of the ramp.. i kinda miss it, and at the same time i kinda dont..

  • what is the name of the guy at :40 with the orange sticks? does he have a specific name?

  • marshaller

  • This quick turnaround is precisely the basis for Southwest's success in an industry (US domestic airlines) where profits are elusive. Also worth noting is that they fly 737's exclusively, keeping cross training to a minimum.

  • I wanna fly for them someday :)

  • I flew with the twice, & let me tell you, their airline is the best airline you can fly with. And NEVER fly with Us Airline. Haha. Well, I hope you fly with southwest soon! :D

  • Friendly and lovely airlines

  • WTG Southwest!

  • love airbus a320 planes, great creation....amazing flight

  • 3:17 APU?

  • @DeadlyInertia no thats just a jack i guess that the ground crew plugs in and they can communicate with the pilots. apu is in the back on the right side i believe

  • Thank !

  • 1:59 easy cowboy/girl! haha

  • GO SOUTHWEST!!! I always fly on Southwest because it's the best!!!!

  • Brilliant way to connect with customers in an industry that is very much "behind the scenes"

  • nothing to back up my comment, how about the fact at work at a major airport, seeing them turn there planes everyday, they do so little maintnence here that they actually contract it out, they dont even have mechanics here

  • I don't really want the fastest turn arounds

take a minute make sure that engine is fastened.

  • SWA has never had a fatal accident.

  • I LOV southwest airlines!!!!!!!! you rock!!!!!

I LOV your flight attedants!!!!!! keep flying!!!

  • what's the song you used for the intro?

  • Today's review of my college career in Chile is about this company

  • lol 25 mins? when i started on the Ramp with SWA at MDW we did it in 20mins!

  • @chrisperg11 lov takes time ;)

  • @chrisperg11 most truns are 25 mins but some are quick turns which are 20 mins

  • WOW!!! You work at MDW, nothing but business travellers. Even on a full flight you probably only got 40-50 bags. Try working in MCO when every flight comes in with 100+ bags from families on vacation.

  • you work on the ramp

  • @chrisperg11 of course it depends on if the flight was on time, how bags and pax on and off but i believe you

  • @chrisperg11 LOL so not only Ryanair have 25mins :D

  • @chrisperg11 now its 30 depending on where u are. im at MDW

  • about time some people agree with me... But yeah guys i work at an airport where wn has a major presence, lots of times they do it in twenty minutes and everything does get done at the same time. However i will never fly due to there lack of maintnence

  • lack of maintenance? You have nothing to substantiate such a statement.

  • whats the song in 25 minute turn?

  • Yeah 8 minutes to offload and load bags? Maybe on dash-8 or CRJ. I'd like to witness 8 minutes to offload and load bags on a full flight.

This video is so misleading. So next time I'm waiting to board my plane on Southwest I better not see any ramp guys loading the plane. It obviously takes more than the first 10 minutes to offload passengers easily.

  • uno what dude ive whitnessed this its true

  • wats the song u used for your open?

  • This video was so cool! It makes me want to work for Southwest Airlines, as a baggage person, and as a plane push back guy, and maybe as a plane gas feller guy, or something!

  • I love US Airways!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whats the song?
