@irishhunbrit Yes, every one I showed it to says yes. You have to remember the bell's weight would not let the oil lift the device not to mention the sand seal covering the flexible skirt. So if they didn't want to recover the oil this device would just seal the leak until they drilled the new holes.
@anyu1941 Have you sent it to Transocean And Halliburton who are both blaming BP ,even Though i believe Transocean own the rig and its their blowout protector that failed to work! and Halliburton maintianed the well!may be you should try these guys, if you have not already.Then again ,you are probally better off trying Bp Again.
@irishhunbrit I have sent it to "everyone". Including Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump, Bill O'Reilly, Bobby Jindal, BP, Horizon and many-many more! Nobody even has looked at it! They all say they got 100's of thousands of ideas and they are looking at them.
This is one place NObama failed miserably. If he was not "green" (totally inexperienced) or in other words a moron falling in to a job over his head, he would have appointed hundreds of engineers to look at ideas submitted by the public. But the US has no President at this time. We have a community organizing moron from Kenya that owns the presidency.

I am sure the obama administration wants this to be really bad so they can stop drilling and raise the price of oil to $200 or more a barrel. That is why he didn't even care about it for a month. He was happy he can further his "green agenda".
