Why is it not surprising that there was was a denial that the fireworks were set off ON the building (as the video shows) and not next to it, as claimed? And why was no permit applied for?

Planes crashing into them were not the "official" cause of the WTC collapse (all 3) - it was supposedly fire! A fire that was no were near the magnitude of this fire and thisbuilding isn't even sagging or leaning.

The twin towers were built with an innovative 'tube structure' design, they were not built weak (they are your words) but they were unfortunately uniquely vulnerable to impacts by large air liners, due to the way that building stresses were distributed to the outer columns.

The design was very clever in that it didn't require as much steel as other large buildings and therefore saved a lot of $

Unfortunately some angry terrorists understood the weakness of the design.

Unfortunately the design didn't allow for large planes (that hadn't even been designed yet) to be crashed into the towers by pissed off Muslims.

i guess you don't know what you are talking about. WTC 7 was NOT hit by a plane. it was a much smaller building then the two towers! (WTC 1 and WTC 2). in total there was 9 WTC buildings that where all destroyed on 9/11. most of them where so close to the towers that they just got crushed by the two towers that collapsed upon them. but building 7 was further away, and was collapsed by a few small fires on the upper floors... at least thats what the white house tells you...
