Very nice job on your video ! Smooth presentation.

I've had the EZ201 for a couple of years and recently took to China and was very happy with the video quality and usability.

I'm now looking to upgrade to the next level of video quality where you say the EZ 300HD is also excellent.

I believe I need an External Microphone feature to better control sound recording.

EZ300HD was a great camera. However, mine had a problem recording past 9min and RCA replaced with the EZ219. Nice camera. But for what I do it is not the best.

Hope to do a review soon.

Take a look at the Kodak Z18. Don't own one but intent to shortly.

Specs: up to 1080p HD res; SD slot; removable/rechargeable battery; strong low-light performance; ext mic jack; 5-megpxl still capture; macro focus.

Yes the RCA EZ219 is out. Nice! But they screwed up and lost a huge opportunity.

If I were you I would give serious thought to the Zi8. External mic input and 60fps.

2 drawbacks... battery life 1.5hr (buy a 2nd) and you can't view yourself.

Try the Zi8 and let me know what you think

I printed the facts page on the EZ300HD from RCA website. About the SD cards....., the only SD ( non SDHC) I can find are 2gb. The 4gb, 8gb, and 16 gb are all SDHC, not just SD. I need to know if they ( the SDHC) will work in the EZ300HD.

this from RCA site....Expansion Slot Allows extra memory via an SD memory Card. Up to 16GB of extra memory - expands HD recording time up to 9 hours!

Even though have the SD card....never needed as shoot short download often.

The EZ300HD can use the SD or SDHC cards. It is printed on the box, but not listed on the website.
