  • Deus Ex means divine intervention

  • @la9matthew how bout bitch blocker to block out little chicken shits like you

  • I literally can't wait

  • I remember seeing this the first time when it came out gave me goosebumps. I still hardly can believe it is coming out soon!

  • really.....fuck ads

  • Deus Ex = Deu Sex

  • @jakattak90 Deutscher Sex

  • My vision is augmented.

  • Reminds me of some of my "futuristic" vivid dreams I had some nights.

  • is this only pc? or only ps3? im tempted to buy a ps3 for this, but hopefully xbox

  • @Slodogk at 1:52 it shows you xbox 360, ps3, and pc

  • oh snap at 1:36 that guard's humerus is only at 68% health!! he'd better walk over a medkit!

  • oh snap at 1:36 that guard's humerus is only at 68% health!!

  • talking about fallen angels....

  • @Killarila he was Icarus ?

  • @Encrtia hack if i know.....omg HAAAAAX!

  • @Killarila Icarus actually!!

  • this needs to become a movie, there are so many video games that could be blockbusters if there givin the money and good directors, hollywood is sitting on a goldmine there just too stupid and concerned to take risks, look at avatar, the people who funded 300 million dollars knew they were taking a huge risk, and just look how massively it paid off

  • @biggw711 there are already game-movies for example max payne :P

  • @SuperNateclark i kno and prince of persia, but i mean like the other big name titles, like metal gear, halo, gears of war and many others, all of them have potential to be great movies

  • @biggw711 games turned into movies i would love to see would be, this, halo universe, the GoW universe, metel gear, bioshock (which is supposedly currently underway), and a shit ton of others, some games just have a really rich plotline =p

  • ¡¡¡ Wowowow !!!!

¡¡¡ Impresionante cuando rompe el vaso y enciende el mechero !!! ¡¡¡Qué poder!!!

    Bonito guiño a Rembrandt.

    Vaya pedazo de mierda.

  • there is some truth to the beginning statment that " we are a stepping stone to what we can become and we dont need technology to get us there, just an open mind and heart and faith that we can evolve to something much more powerful than what we were told

  • Wow ... now you even can't close those freaking adds

  • yes! square Enix!

  • Im not a smoker but whoever sad it doesnt make you look cooler is a lying sack of shit lol.

  • Anyway before i get sidetracked could some one tell how were past Deus Ex games - were they espionage action games? And is this an enjoyable franchise?

  • @redlightning0001 The franchise was sort of a mix, search for the gameplay on YouTube. And yes, it is truly enjoyable. It's probably one of the top 5 video-game plots, featuring clever themes involving conspiracy and corruption.

  • @redlightning0001

i can only recommend you to play the first one. there is even a fan-made patch to enhance the textures in the game. (the game is 10 years old) the story is well written, intriguing, has a conspiracy goning on, and a nice twist at the end. the gameplay is very good, and mixes differnt tipes of gameplay, you won't be dissapointed. the second one though is just average. they screwed up the gameplay and the story doesn't suck you in so much as the first one.

  • Eidos is a part of Square Enix.

  • i agree. cod sux .

  • DID ANYONE NOTICE?

The soundtrack playing between 1:09 and 1:33. Its awesome. I wonder when are they going to release it too.

  • It won't be Deus Ex. It'll be another one of the millions of trashy brown and gloom shooters. The video game medium has become about as homogenized as the other entertainment platforms such as film, TV and music. The difference is that it costs huge sums to make large games today so it's hardly even possible to cater to niche markets such as Deus Ex. I guess it's time to get a new pastime.

  • Second from what I have heard they are trying to make the game as worthy of the first's legacy as a classic. Each situation can supposedly be solved by stealth, combat, or social interaction. It sounds like it has Metal Gear action with Mass Effect like conversation wheels. If done well I think this should be an excellent game.

  • First Daedalus and Icarus are the names of mythological Greek characters that excaped confinement by making fake wings. Icarus was the son of Daedalus and was the one though warned not to go to close to the son did and the wax on his wings melted fell apart and he died. They are representations of the danger of science without wisdom and how the search for enlightenment and perfection may cause your own doom

  • we appreciated it - excellent movie, will definaetly go see it yet again. acting was excellent which i didnt feel it would be, go check it out on Big Movies 4 Free no surveys just the motion picture

  • never really understood the begining of it

who is their guys from the rennisance working on him???

  • @Fluffefan

    Christ...

It's "The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp".

  • i dont know.

i say not bad but NOT like deus ex 1 . stil a good game. it has feeling. the look and feel . at least. i HAS a story . a plot . while games like MW2 has no story and nothing of fun.

hope Square not make all GO mess up / fucked up.

    sorry for bad english.

  • @dougarr Mw2 had a great story, don't be an idiot.

The story was not amazaing, but was good.

  • @TakeOnNE1 it had a story?

  • @redlightning0001 Of course, maybe if you would try the singleplayer, instead of playing the overrated multiplayer on it.

    You would notice.

  • @TakeOnNE1 well I did play the campaign first since I didn't want to jump straight in to the multiplayer (really don't get why people do that), but none of it really made sense (yes I did play part 1). Plus the pacing was horribly off and it was just bad, very bad. (huh well guess that proves me wrong since it did have story, but to me it was very bad).

What do you really think of the story? What's your opinion?

And yes I do agree the multiplayer is overrated, seriously overrated.

  • @TakeOnNE1 What story?

  • Thumbs up if you were looking at Brink videos and this was at the top of the list so you click on it lol

  • looking foward to this game i hope they stil have some awesome weapons from the first game

  • @Sweetpe33 you f***ing idiot, its a VIDEO GAME!!!

  • this just doesnt look good

  • looks cool, btw i know nothing of ths game

  • @kiLLerKev4U man the first game on pc was epic you have to get it

  • wallhack >.>

  • Eidos, seriously? lol

  • @iGetBackSmacked

What is wrong with them hitman, tomb raider are great games ? Can't mention really bad games they maded

  • @Ramano87 beacause of you, ill give it a chance

  • This game is NOT made by square enix, to those fucking idiots who constantly thinks so.

  • awesome trailer. its like a movie!!!

  • How they dont screw this up like they did with Invisible War

  • They need to use the old Score or at least a modified version of it.

    That Soundtrack was epic.

  • I know this game has no hope of watching up to the original. I know that, but I'm hoping that, like Invisible War before it, it'll still be a great game. There better be some damned RPG elements in there though, I'll never buy this game if they turn it into a Bioshock clone.

  • this is beautiful, and powerful, i hope they play it right and make this mind challenging and smart story, really smart, like the deus ex 1 was.. it has the potential, especially since it explores areas of A.I., human development, economic cycles, and the most fundemental question - WHO ARE WE?, .. if you change everything in your body, who are you.. for you still FEEL YOU ARE, and yet there is nothing physical that remains of YOU, .. so this YOU is BIGGER than saying i am american, german, etc

  • What the hell is he???

  • That looks good.

  • @witherbt

dammit spammers are so stupid. this is a game u fuckin idiot. not a movie.

  • @Marshmallowmann

Actually those spammers dont care what kind of video this is they just want to show their website in the comment so people go and check it out, but those kind of sites are full of keyloggers (Hack sites).

  • square enix is a publisher and a developer so whats the big deal?

  • Deus ex should become a film.

  • @harlan1010 You should become a film.

  • can buy it on steam?

  • So we will be playing as someone similar to Gunther Herman?

Most regrettable is the lack of the DRAGON TOOTH SWORD (Nanotech sword).

  • ok retards square enix arent making the game theyre publishing it because they own eidos. they did the same with just cause 2 and supreme commander 2, are they turn based rpgs? no! this game does look awesome though. chill out ppl wat do u have against square enix they made some really good games. remember vagrant story on ps1? epic =]

  • wait what is so bad about square enix making the game?

  • The first 1 is my favorite game ever cause of the story mostly and your ability to change it. Anyone else kill navarro on the plane first time around. My god it blew my mind, but i dont like the mysterious hero thing. The first one has the backround story, brother to the great agent, dead parents who you find out later fought for you. Alot of meaning, games where you dont know the character are hard for me to get into. Come on, give me something good!!!

  • So I Suppose Icarus Will Be The Main Character

  • Most of the people whining are just doing so because it's "cool" to be anti"something mainstream/ popular" - whether or not they have a track record for amazing work or not. It doesn't matter. If they're a "brand name" then you just gotta talk sh!t, because you gotta support " insert underdog company/genre/ country " here.

They've got a few bad pieces here and there, yeah - so does every other company in existence. Sometimes an idea works, sometimes it doesn't.

  • Everyone who's flipping out - Square Enix actually being apart of this game is a GOOD thing. It means the game isn't going to look like sh!t. They aren't taking over, but they're lending their expertise.

You don't have to like the Final fantasy games or anything like that ( Dunno why since just about everything Square makes is awesome - save for a few failures along the way) Nevermind that the reason the company is so popular in the firstplace is because they know what the hell they're doing

  • @NoviceartistJC Hope what you're saying is true. Where did you find that info? If Square Enix is just doing cutscenes, that's all right.

  • @stinky472 Square is just acting as a publisher for the game, they purchased the games studio * they seem to be branching out and acquiring a lot of different genres in recent years*. While they make make a few decisions here and there - it would be mostly cosmetic. So yeah, they're mostly lending their resources to enhance the game, but Edios is still in charge. Square has their hand in a lot of things, fps, puzzle, side scroller, bullet hell, anime, but only as a publisher.

  • @NoviceartistJC i agree, square enix are the reason scorpio has his blinging necklace in just cause 2, and it didnt look jrpg-ish, it looked BADASS!

  • @NoviceartistJC Agreed besides iff you dont like the idea of square enix making a game DONT BUY IT simple as that.

  • @NoviceartistJC The problem is that many SE games ESPECIALLY FF are the opposite of the DX series.

    DX: Barely any cutscenes.

FF: More cutscenes than gameplay, many unskippable.

DX: Immersive gameplay that rarely takes away control from player.

FF: Everything is done in cutscenes.

DX: Multipath, the game is all about choices. Everything is in your control.

FF: Linear, with no decisions about where to go.

DX: You don't have to fight anyone.

FF: You see someone and it goes into a battle screen.

  • @NoviceartistJC

DX: Bleak, cold and gritty art style

    FF: Bright and cheerful

    DX: Sci-Fi

    FF: Fantasy

DX: Gruffy man in the leading role.

FF: Girly bishonen boys in leading roles.

DX: Great story and decent acting.

FF: Okay story and some of the worst voice acting known to man.

  • @DoctorWeeTodd

    Ahahaha! xD

You did NOT just say that DX has decent voice acting? Which part was the best? When you meet Maggie Chow? ;P

  • @Aljeron100 ESPECIALLY that, Mistah Jaaaayceeee DenTAHN in da fresh!

  • @Aljeron100 And you have to admit, even the worse of Deus Ex was better than say the voice work in Advent Children. There was nothing that compares to "Tidus laughing," "Vanille talking," or "Shilly shally dilly dawdle"

  • @DoctorWeeTodd

Oh I know that FF's voice acting sucks big time but Deus Ex is pretty bad (hilarious) too.

"I wanted orange! It gave me lemon-lime."

  • @NoviceartistJC Square is just the publisher and has nothing to do with development, thankfully. Eidos Montreal is the dev.

  • @RyanADillon

Square made the CGIs though :)

  • im gonna buy brink and thats all.

  • @TheDg00 actualy no i am gonna buy them both :D

  • SARCASM

OH SHIT SQUARE ENIX! This game is going to be a turn based, Japanese rpg, and you go on an adventure across the near future with magical powers along teenage heroes who are way over there heads, filled with Japanese culture references that Americans are naturally oblivious of, and the main characater has extreme hair that is as extreme as his sword, and the best part is random encounters.

  • @animereality360

you allmost made me rip your testicles out, lucky for you, i saw the top of your post in time: sarcasm

    lol

  • gg getting trolled by SomethingGodAwful, everyone, especially thomas007

  • This game is made by Eidos Montreal its just that Square Enix bought the company so they are publishing and probably making some new additions to the game. Other than that, they game wont have any final fantasy SHIT!! in it. check out the new Gameinformer they have an article about Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

  • i hope is a good game, and not a crappy "gears of creed" with some limited arms sh*t, i want role playing elements i want cybernetic legs, i want cyberpunk, not final fantasy fag sh*t, i want intellectual cyberpunk themed with role playing elements serious and realistic game!

  • deu sex

  • uh... square enix is not making this as far as i know so I don't see a reason to complain people. Besides the game looks pretty awesome.

  • Man I can't wait for this game and I love final fantasy so much and why does cloud look like that

  • Is it wrong for a once otaku like me to see this as a mix of Ghost in the Shell and Blade Runner just more polished?

  • P.S: I'm not a racist and have nothing against Japanese (in fact, I'm a great admirer of Square's work, fan of Nintendo and much, much more related to Japan), but imo the art style from this trailer doesn't appeal to Deus Ex's style from previous games. And also the city looks alot more modern than in, for example, original DE so all the "prequel" story in this title doesn't catch up for me ON THE FIRST LOOK. Yet I may yet have to play the game to be 100% sure my previous statement does justice.

  • Well, I can see a LOT of Japanese influence in this game... seeing the bio-suits reminds me of the suit Old Snake from Metal Gear 4 wears... and that Japanese animation, don't know if it will do good to the series but I'm no less excited to play a new game in the EPIC game series called - Deus Ex. Oh yeah, baby!

  • Badass, damn iPad

  • Totally babas

  • is the musik from the game or is it just a trailermusik like "hearts of courage" in the mass effect 2 launchtrailer

  • Yeah! We don't need another game like the POS Mass Effect Series.

  • @SLEAZY808 Deus Ex predates Mass Effect by about 10 years.

  • fok-youtube-advs

  • Soundtrack... youtube.com/watch?v=irmCg8_jwm8

  • best trailer!!!!

  • if u guys want a really, really awesome trailer for this game (its pretty long aswell)

    go here:

this trailer is so bloody awesome

  • y r u lot looking at colour???????u lot r bat*Y

  • f*** u all for hating...this looks sick.....gd they put all the older ones into this as its a freash start the old ones looks like a picece of sh** those dais i was busy bunin as americans call it pot(smokin the muff)....square enix are making the edious games wicked edious cum do hitman....wen bunin(pot) i love playin games.....

  • GOLD AND BLOOM

    GOLD

    AND

    BLOOM

...I mean... really? Eidos sure made some enemies with this.

And why not "deus ex 3"? Oh yeah, because they want to appeal to the kids who weren't born when the first two were out...

  • @BrainSeepsOut

The only enemies they made are retards who don't remember that the first games were visually dull as fuck. This game just swapped all the blue for gold.

  • @RamboStu

But with gold it's even duller, because we've already seen too much of that gold. How about Green? Oh wait, that wat Matrix Reloaded and it was dreadful...

  • @BrainSeepsOut what is your point? get over ursel, they dnt care about what you think, just because you bought the game you think the company owes you something, they don't. go fuck yourself. fed up with you haters who think games revolve around them and they know best. dnt see you making any games? I hope you dont buy the new game just so you can see how it makes no difference to how successful its going to be

  • @gravidoff

"i don't see you making any games"

So? That doesn't take away my right to criticise. But of course, you're one of those kids who say "if you don't like it, why are you watching it".

And don't get me started on that phrase.

  • @BrainSeepsOut Then you don't have to buy Deus ex 3

  • Hey, does this pick up on the endings of Deus Ex? If so, wich one of the three endings? :>

  • @pranksterfreakout

    It's a prequel.

  • is it for pc?

  • Ghost In The SHell ftw, the world and technology really looks like the same :) I cant wait for this game :)

  • I swear if I get that Alicia Keys song playing before another video as an ad i'm going to kill someone -_-

  • u know what...2011 should come faster because all awesome games are released in 2010, for example mafia II, assassin's creed 3, crysis 2, brink and etc.

  • This look amazing, but I have fears for how it will be compared to the first 2. It looks too much like a Square game, not a Deus Ex game, style wise, but the cut scenes shows alot of what made Deus Ex what it was.

  • I've never played a deus ex game, is it really that good? I'm more into shooters like halo, Gears of war and half life, rather than stuff like final fantasy.

  • @ImTheVanillaGorilla The original Deus Ex was very unique in that it mixed characteristics of both FPS and RPG genres. I loved the game and have played it through multiple times, even though my favorite games of all time are Half-Life 1 & 2 and I hate RPGs, so yes, it is that good.

  • @ImTheVanillaGorilla it is (the original), but if you are looking for a shooter like halo, gow, etc etc, then DE is not for you, its a more complex game, with, rpg, adventure, stealth elements, and a deep storyline, the best hybrid of his kind in my opinion.

  • SqEnix is only handling the cutscenes, they have nothing to do with the actual game. And why not have them do the cutscenes for you? It is, after all, one of the things they're best at.

  • @ShadowSoldior I suppose if SqEnix is only handling the cutscenes then it is ok. But if they are allowed near the gameplay the game will be total shit.

  • @nut77739 How can you say that? SqEnix has never made an FPS before so you have nothing to base that claim on, TBS and FPS are two very different styles of gameplay, my friend.

  • @ShadowSoldior you make a fine point. maybe i am still jaded from final fantasy 13 and the last remnant

  • @nut77739 FF13 was...Okay. Last Remnant was a joke though.

  • judging by this trailer, I think the illuminati will be back in this one and there'll be some references to either icarus or angels...

  • that girl in the billboard at 1:27 reminds me of SHODAN

  • square enix isnt making the fucking game, they're just doing the cutscenes... take a chill pill people.

  • @thomas007 Fucktards simply don't do their research and are quick to lapse into crybabyism.

  • @toxicgospel Agreed.

  • Comment removed

  • @thomas007 They're the game editors. So, they take a lot of decisions.

  • @thomas007 does that go for just cause 2?

  • @thomas007 yup... ppl see square enix and think they made the game >.>

  • @thomas007 Square bought Eidos interactive. They're making the game. Sorry.

  • @thomas007 The problem with square enix working on this is that they will make this a movie, not a video game. Just like what they did with final fantasy 13, only whatever scrap of gameplay there was in that game sucked (and so did the cut scenes). And even if they working on the cut scenes only, you can't blame ppl for freaking out when they hear "square enix" and "dues ex" in the same sentence. The thought of square enix screwing up a game like dues ex is horrifying.

  • @thomas007 hell yea square enix can make some cool cutscenes

  • why do they always want to create a freakin tough-guy image, soooo boring.

  • Square is gonna be making Hitman 5 too, Coming out this year!! :D

  • @mar1us95 Wait there's a new Hitman coming out? When?

  • @QQMarkPS2 End of 2010, says so on Wiki ;D

  • @mar1us95 Around the same time as this game then. This may be the year! As long as World War III dosen't break out of course.

  • This is like Shakespeare meets Bladerunner

  • SQUARE ENIX!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? Screw this, I'm gonna replay Deus Ex 1 again, kthnxbai.

  • @SomethingGodAwful What's wrong with Square Enix? People seem to hate popular things for no reason.

  • @pantscheese Name a single good game they've made the latest lightyear. And if you say FF I'm gonna punch you in the face.

  • @SomethingGodAwful How about Just Cause 2?

  • @SomethingGodAwful First off, lightyear is a measure of distance, not time. Second, I don't like Final Fantasy either. Lastly, They haven't made any particularly good games, but they haven't made any really good games either. One other thing, Square Enix isn't even producing this game, Eidos is, which is a good thing.

  • @SomethingGodAwful I meant developing, not producing.

  • @SomethingGodAwful Isn't Square only the publisher? It«s still being made by Eidos.

  • @SomethingGodAwful

Never judge a book by it's cover.

  • @SomethingGodAwful The main reason why Square Enix's name is on there is because of them owning the rights ot the game, since they bought out Eidos who were the previous publishers, and Eidos already got rid of the original developers anyway, but now the dev team known as Eidos Montreal are developing the game.

  • @Dezolate Square Enix is publishing.
