Never hurts to go back and listen to the classics. I never bought this album, but that's only because I like only two songs. I own all the albums after this one. Not impressed with Alive. Lack of passion in some songs and some of the lyrics feel forced.I miss Skillet from around the time of Collide and Comatose.

lol @ the people whining about his hair or the music or that this isn't John Cooper. You can clearly hear it that it is him. Their first albums are underrated, it's a shame. I'm probably one of the few who thinks their older albums are the best. Comatose and Awake have some great tracks but after a while they are starting to get a bit boring in my opinion.

I'm not a big Skillet fan nor do I listen to them or have any of their CDs, but I think we can agree they've always been good.
The difference I'd say is they've improved over the years.

and don't get me wrong, i LOVE skillet's music among some other christian rock bands i'm aware of like PILLAR. and i'm not hatin' just asking a question. And of course as a goth i do occasionally wear face paint and black nail polish(but there is a way to go about it w/out looking gay) A good example to prove that point would be Seether. Now, Marilyn Manson, that is the only rocker i know who can cross dress and wear red lipstick and still somehow make it look cool, ROFL

actually, no. I got a buzz cut with a full beard. What you just described would not be a true goth, unless the goth guy with that hair cut is from cali, is an emo, a poser, or is a gay goth(yes there are such things).
I do agree with you on the fact that most rock bands look gay, well maby what most people define as rock bands. When i say true rock bands, i think Godsmack, Metallica, zz-top, Stand, etc...all look like they actually kissed a girl.

look i ain't hatin' on Skillet or any other Christian rock band for sayin' this, but i have to ask: Why is it that the majority of the guys in the Christian bands i c all look gay as fuck? I'm only asking cuz then i look at a Christian with the kind of hair styles i see on these groups only two things come to mind: a Gay guy, or an Emo...and usually there's a thin line between the two. Any input from ya'all Christians that listen? I like the music but i'm just curios about why they look so gay.
