@mtallicuhh WI is nice. $100,000 can buy you a nice 2 story house almost anywhere in WI. only in the big cities (Madison, GB, Milluakee, racine, Kenosha) will you find bad neighborhoods.  beware of blizzards and old people driving. In the north woods you can find some of the most beautiful land in the US.

Wisconsin is beautiful. Winters not my taste, but we've got great weather most of the other years.

We have a lot of farmland, but more gorgeous scenery and fresh air and hiking and very many things. Don't insult something until you've personally experienced it. great vid, interestingly done, but probably among the lesser of scenic routes in the state. If you are up to it take a run down the Great River route Hwy 35. Some of my favs are going W toward Duluth at night and watch the city rise 700' above the lake. Looks like SF; really.

Also love Hwy55onthe E side of lake Winnebago along the Greater Niagara Escarpment aka "the Ledge"(Best barns too) W. Wis is my home, raised in Dunn, live in Pierce in the hills. Oh yeah Rib mtn & Bluemound excel

Wisconsin is actually called "gods country" when you head west in the state, like a little miles south or north of the dells, and it's so beautilful! Me and my dad saw over thirty dear in the fields when camping at Mill Bluff State Park (which that place is so cool!) I'm so glad to be raised in Wisconsin!

I'm from Prescott, right on the MN border (lived in MN till I was 14), but live in AZ now, and I can tell you that both of the states are so much better than AZ is in almost every aspect! And Chicago is a fun place too, so I don't understand what all the hating is about! But Wisconsinites I think understand what is so great about their state more than Minnesotans do about theirs, but really just be thankful you live in the wonderful Upper Midwest! There is nothing like driving 8 mph at midnight in an SUV somewhere near Devil's Lake. I forget which road/where exactly but it was very windy and narrow.. Lots of spooky and dark roads to drive in as well as bright and beautiful open roads.
