@MotherPunker970 MG2:SS IS part of the story and is NOT a side game, you might be reffering to Metal Gear: Snakes Revenge, that horrible side-scrolling game. That wasnt even made by Kojima and just had the Metal Gear name stamped on to make more money. And the Metal Gear for the NES had several things that didnt happen in the original MSX2 game. In the MSX2 version, Solid Snake arrives in a small "creek". In the NES version Snake arrives in some random spot in the middle of a jungle.

Raiden isn't a cyborg. He isn't half human half robot.

He, like Vamp, has nanotechnology that gives him superhuman abilities. The only cyborg in Metal Gear Solid is Gray Fox. Raiden wears a suit like Gray Fox. In the epilogue, he does get replacement arms, thats it.

The thing about him was that he was killed by Solid Snake in Metal Gear 2 I think it was then he reappeared as "Gray Fox" in Metal Gear Solid 1. But the thing is that when he was killed the Patriots took his body for experiments and succeeded but it ultimately ended in a failure. As he is the first "Humanoid Metal Gear" so to speak. I would say that he was the most awsome character.

You do know that Hideo Kojima actyually ported Metal Gear 1 anf Solid Snake for MSX2 to NES and SNES but they were just never released in any other place than Japan? You should read up on things dude before you say that people are wrong. I own Metal Gear 1 for the NES and MSX2 and they are one and the same. The game you are referring to is called Metal Gear Solid Snake wich is a side game.
