I am somewhat ambivalent about the Mayo Clinic. They obviously have a stellar reputation based on hard-earned efforts however they did fail to properly cure my wife. We were hoping that once all else had failed Mayo could help but 5 days, several rounds of agonizing testing, and hundreds dollars later we were right back where we had started and we knew more about the conditions that they did. It was local doctor who actually pointed out the most appropriate solution. I do hold a few doubts..
I've heard many good stories about Mayo. They solve problems that puzzle local doctors. My question is: I'm dying, I'm 47 years old. I lost my job and health care because I was too ill to work. They let me go before I could even complete or properly diagnose my condition. So what do I do now? Die alone in my house? I've already cashed in everything I've saved for 30 years. I contact government agencies, but either I get no reply or no one knows how to answer my questions. Any ideas?
