  • Anderson Cooper looks like such an idiot next to Hitchens

  • Might want to get rid of the "Get well soon" at the end.

  • The world moves on and will move on without him. For a guy who lived and existed, he had less of an impact on the world than a man whose existence is disputed.

  • @whiteguycash Sadly, you are correct. I am often asked (as an atheist) If I hope someone who has died had gone to a better place, despite me not believing in a better place.

And I would tell them, I don't hope they have gone to a better place, I know they have. They look at me quizzically and I explain, If that person, by dying, made the world a worse place by leaving, then they have by definition gone to a better place.

We are worse off without Hitchens, He is in a better place.

  • God Damn

This man died not giving a fuck about anything, you know this genius doesn't give a shit about anybody or anything & that's fuckin amazing, I love that.

  • @ssohood2011 What evidence is there to support he was a genius?

  • @userdenied58 Christopher Hitchens is an Social & Scientific author, essayist and journalist, whose journalism on corruption became famous. He was a columnist and literary critic for The Atlantic, Free Inquiry, The Nation, Salon, Slate, Vanity Fair, World Affairs, & he become a controversial figure exposing the truth. He graduated from Balliol College then Oxford University the Valedictorian in both schools. He's a Philosophical, Writer, Journalist, & Public Speaker. He's your average Atheist =)

  • @ssohood2011 Really Scientific? I am a Scientist and have never heard of his Scientific writings. I know he corrupted our field claiming a lot of theories as facts as well as making many fantastical leaps to disprove the existence of a Creator.

But a Scientist, I think not. More a Social Philosopher with a deep-seated hatred for all things religious. Similar to a child who is pissed at his Dad for now showing up for his play.

  • @userdenied58 Religion separates & isolates people through self-righteous gusto. It's dehumanization of enter societies. If your a Christian or Muslim then you believe 75% of the people in this World is going to Hell. You actually believe that your Religion, even though unproven, is better than all other Religions, thus they deserver to burn in Hell. That persona is wrong. He has a right to insult that life-style. He's a scientist who's worked with multiple research journals & universities =)

  • @ssohood2011

What discipline of science? All I am seeing is articles published in magazines with "Scientific..." which is really stretching it if you are trying to call him a scientist. He was not a sociologist, nor psychologist, so what?

I agree organized religions play upon people to join their congregation. It is marketing at its worst, I mean why the hell else should Catholic and Protestants fight each other? Muslims are our way or your head - tough sell there. I stay home.

  • @userdenied58 Hitchens once said in a Yale World Religion Conference (2002) that a person "could be an atheist and wish that belief in god were correct, but that an anti-theist, a term I'm trying to get into circulation, is someone who is relieved that there's no evidence for such an assertion." Look, he has a Major in World Religion & Journalism in Oxford University one of the best School on the planet. But, even if he is a "unbeliever" he's an excellent man, & the World loves his work =)

  • @ssohood2011

Interesting that you hold this man out as a genius and claim the World loves his work. Some may enjoy his works; however, I would venture more do not or have not heard of him.

You believe he is an excellent man. I see him as a bombastic blowhard who relished a fight and truly left little of substance to the world. Yet, at least we can agree he was not a scientist.

  • @userdenied58 What do you want from me exactly? Any man who graduates from Oxford University a Valedictorian is a genius. I suppose most of the World doesn't know or appreciate his work, but most of the Modern World does. I'm not going to argue weather him as a person is smart or not, that's childish, but your saying he hasn't done good in this World. During the 1960s alone Hitchens protested ageist Korean-Vietnam War, Racism, Oligarchy, Conglomerate/Social Corruption, Race-Interment, & Nukes =)

  • @ssohood2011

Again, we are looking at relative terms.

You believe Hitchens was a genius becuase he graduated Valedictorian in his field at Oxford; however, that only makes him a master of his subject. I will not deny his talent in his field, yet his prime purpose in life seemed to be picking a fight with whoever failed to agree with his views.

You state he enriched the World by protesting various causes, yet so did millions of others. Each cause is still a problem world-wide.

  • @userdenied58 How?

How is any of that supposed to be "Relative Terms"? Your acting like it's nothing. He was a front runner for the Civil Rights movement in Europe & North Africa. He showed the World how corruption was still in the Vatican. Uncovered the Catholic Churches Rape, Prejudiced, & Segregation scandals. He proved the World that America is turning into a Oligarchy rather than a Democracy. For Goodness Sakes, he even proved Mother Teresa was a Horrible person & That's Nothing.

    IDIOT

  • @ssohood2011

Hitchens was a bombastic egoist who proved nothing except to his disciples. He did not expose the child rape cases by the Catholic Church or anything else that was not already in the public eye.

As for Mother Teresa being a horrible person, give me a friggin' break. What did Hitchens do for starving people other than bore them into a stupor?

In any event, I see no reason to discuss him with you anymore. We both have our points of views which are not going to change.

  • @userdenied58 If he proved nothing why is he so highly regarded as an essayist and debater? You seem to be a hypocrite picking fights on most of his videos with people who disagree with you. Seriously how does he bore to a stupor? That's just silly. He's entertaining in debates crushing opponents and was a very witty provocateur. Whatever you want to believe he was highly intelligent, and commented on what he saw was wrong. As you have attempted at doing.

  • @userdenied58 And seriously, you claim to have 3 doctorates and in your free time you start youtube wars? Get real, and get lost. Try reading some of his work as well.

  • @TheMurty01

    Recovery from surgery ~ bored.

  • Double standards...that's a favorite of the faithful. If a Christian or a Jew or a Muslim were to get one over on esophageal cancer, well obviously he's in league with god. But if Hitchens were to have beat this thing, well obviously hes signed a contract with Satan. Bleh...i mean scientific discovery and medical skill have conquered in the war against our own frail bodies time and time again and people are never willing to give credit where credit is due...

  • @guthax30 On page 293 of "Roget's 21st Century Thesaurus in Dictionary Form," Edited by the Princeton Language Institute, Barbara Ann Kipfer, Ph.D., Head Lexicographer (1993) ...we find the synonyms for: FAITH : acceptance, allegiance, assent, assurance, belief, certainty, certitude, confidence, constancy, conviction, credence, credit, credulity, dependence, faithfulness, fealty, fidelity, hope, loyalty, reliance, stock, store, sureness, surety, troth, truth, truthfulness

  • badass man.

  • its a shame that this whole issue of deathbed this and that can interfere with a mans natural progression towards it or not.

  • Peace be with him.

  • @georgelopezblows Yes. I agree with you. I find it funny that Christians love this world more than the hereafter. At least most Muslims face death without any fear. But i think we should be grateful for what we have in this world, make the best of it, and also be kind and helpful to those in need.

  • May he kill god in peace.

  • let he judge god

  • @cookitagain2 and judge he will.

  • Let God be his judge.

  • Anderson is right, christopher hitchens looks at death, or anything for that matt,er like an intellectual and makes good choices. unlike christians who take the easy way out.

  • The statement "He is an atheist without apology" shows how deeply we are affected by religion as if Hitchen's is supposed to apologize for not believing it...

  • @SpinyNorman416 i absolutely agree, why i laugh when atheists go around asserting that scientists have "absolutely" proved that there is no god lol especially when you have the likes of dawkins (zoologist) hitchens(journalist) high profile atheists going around selling thier books making millions of it and claiming that god is a delusion because science disproves it.. and they not even scientists!!! lmao

  • @SpinyNorman416 ok lets play your game.. atheists come along and say "i dont believe that there is a God and i dont have to prove it"... now tell me how does that notion go down with intellectuals?? i tell you the best an atheist can do is be agnostic or a verificationist. what do u think

  • @SpinyNorman416 thanx for stating the obvious however if youve read what ive been saying all along in my commnts theres only one problem with that notion...... the atheist notion is an ignorant one... rejection of the belief of gods existance full stop without any argument merits IGNORANCE.. hence why you have mixed atheism-agnosticism or atheism-verificationism.. where argument and evidence is in the equation..

  • @6gunwalker Well no views contained in the man made word and creation that is religion have any credibility at all. Just because people say "there might be a god" well i say "there might be ghosts" so while it may be displayed as ignorance, it isn't ignorance in the general use of the term. Religion throws so much logic out the window that this sort of stuff in inevitable. For instance i think all religion is nonsense, but i think the universe is part of something that has purpose.

  • @NICH0LASM ummm what exactly are talking about... to what are you replying to?

  • @6gunwalker By definition the word GOD is something associated to being given morals and other such absurd theories. So while people say it is ignorant to refute it all together , i say it is ignorant to even talk of a god in the first place. Read my words carefully and you will see how to take your thought process to another level, the level of personal dignity.

  • @NICH0LASM if atheists say "there is no such thing as a god and the burden of proof is on the one claiming that there is a god" then by no means how does that logic follow through on intellectuals? how are atheistic scientists able to even say that there is absolutely NO GOD when science is about developing the most "proberble" explanation???? high probibility but no "absolute" answer....

  • @6gunwalker Science refutes all man made ideas like religion and the gods contained within it. Science has pulled the bible apart, you are a descendant of an animal, not created. There very well may be a god like creature outside of the universe, we could be in a test tube, doesn't mean there is a superior being to us that cares for us, they might not even know we exist, we could be an unwanted by product of a large experiment. Sciences says YOU HAVE NO ANSWERS SO BE QUIET. Sorry..

  • @NICH0LASM baseless claims without any solid fact behind it.. science has not pulled the bible apart sorry thats another generic baseless point. your little theory that we could possibly be in a test tube is beyond a joke because it is not ralative to us and our universe, and unwanted by product????? lol some advise please say no to drugs lol

  • @6gunwalker Baseless claims are what religion is built upon. If you knew anything about science you'd now the resulting product doesn't always produce things you need, there is waste, unwanted waste. Get over yourself, you think you are special when all the evidence points against it. What you are is self important and borderline insane.

  • @NICH0LASM please give me specific names who have done specific expertise work in your argument for credentials. it is foolish to take your baseless arguments for it.. anyone can assert what your claiming.. we are unwanted by product??? author you lol wtf! now you tell me whos insane with conclusions like that??

  • @6gunwalker the bible has been ripped apart. If any of the religious holy books were real we'd all be religious. As it stands, none are, and only the insane are religious.

  • @NICH0LASM please save us both the time and effort and provide who as an expert has ripped the bible apart??? the bible is the only text in all the world relevant to our existance and universe.. i can provde expert scholars who have debunked other religions

  • @6gunwalker I was right, you really are insane hahahah. Creationism is no more. The bible doesn't even touch on space or science, it is a nothing book.

  • hahaha he said not to believe any deathbed pray stories and theres one in the suggestions

  • He was a good journalist, you might not like how he presented himself but at least he had his own integrity, unlike the many so called 'journalists' you see that are bought and paid for.

  • He know the truth now 4 SURE

  • I am glad that this misguiding professor passed away. He has done enough damage to human spirituality.

  • He was and will always be a great man!

  • @georgelopezblows I don't know, there are atheists who admit to being afraid to die too. It doesn't make them less of an atheist to admit that.

  • now I'm starting to get why he hated church and religion. People must have been telling him that his mother and brother are burning in hell for eternity for their suicides.I also agree with his stand because there are million things(and he pointed them all out) about religion that are just absurd. I also witnessed back in Bosnia when i watched monsters killing women and children,my cousins and friends in the name of their gods.Religion is dividing us and our species has to unite to survive.

  • if hitchens was a true athiest he wouldve lived his life the way he wanted it and enjoyed it as he believes that there is no afterlife.. instead he spent a good portion of it trying to argue and prove that there is no God.... what a waste of time from a athiest point of view..

  • @6gunwalker He believed that there were flaws with religious dogma and subservience and he didn't want people to do bad things in the name of any "god".

I also like that blurb on the bottom white bar after about 6 1/2 minutes: Read "Hitchens on cancer diagnosis; Why not me?" He admits random chance and probability.

  • @6gunwalker he made MILLIONS - drank and smoked and fucked....waste of time??? What are you doing now? Playing WOW

  • @6gunwalker Perhaps spending his time trying to denounce religion and theism is exactly what he wished to do.

In a world without God, Atheists realize that they must make their own "meaning"; and this was his chosen meaning.

From an Atheist point of view, his life was full and well-lived, because he lived it exactly as HE wanted to.

The fact that it wouldn't be YOUR choice of "meaning" does not mean it was a waste of time.

  • @6gunwalker .."if hitchens was athiest he wouldve lived the way he wanted as he believes there is no afterlife"

Mr Hitchens lived as he wished to live Mr walker. What makes you think not?

"Hitchens tried to argue and prove there is no God"

Mr Hitchens believed in a rational worldview; so, as a writer and speaker, he devoted much energy to exposing the foolishness and horrors of religion.

It is not possible to 'prove' something does not exist -including your particular 'god'

  • @gangster3591 mr ganster3591 lol yeah right, ok let me say this.... i was apalled at the famous and anticipated debate between craig vs hitchens, when hitchens a so called giant of an intellect could not even list any arguements that God did not exist.. craig listed 5 arguments that God does exisit... furthermore hitchens didnt even refute craigs 5 reasons??? for someone as high profile as hitchens and always outspoken i was very disapointed..

  • @6gunwalker .."hitchens cannot give arguements that God did not exist"

No convincing evidence or argument has been advanced for the existence of 'god' ..ever. Understand this: a burden of evidence/proof lies with those who assert something to be true, not with those who reject such assertion due to lack of evidence. It cannot be 'proved' that something does not exist -one cannot 'prove' that fairies don't exist, and one cannot 'prove' that no Casino Rama orbits the sun

  • @gangster3591 if atheism is a belief that God does not exist full stop no reasons to believe that.. then you could be called "IGNORANT" without considering arguments... if you take the notion of agnoticism and verificationism which is under the atheism banner then you could say that insufficient evidence for both sides means you dont know therefore youre open to the possibility of a God... so which one of these terms would you see yourself???

  • @gangster3591 and please do not use that burden of proof arguement... ill tell you why.... If X goes to court and argues that something is true and Y comes along and says it isnt true then the burden of proof befalls both X and Y.. if Y says i dont have to provide evidence or an arguement for my claims then Ys claims are left unjustified, ignorant, arrogant and unsubstantiated... which in turn Ys case would be dropped. i hear this argument time and time again and it just makes me scoff lol

  • @6gunwalker

sorry to but in. Atheists are not Y in that equation. Atheists do not assert that god does not exist. Atheists say that there is insufficient evidence for god so there is no reason to have belief in it. Theism is a belief in god, atheism is no belief in god not a belief that he does not exist. They are two totally different statements. Atheists tend to have a disbelief since it has not been substantiated yet that god is real, that is to say not agnostic. This is healthy skepticism.

  • @jasmac04 lol thats why ive been trying to explain lol if atheists disbelieve in the notion that there is a God.. fullstop the onus of proof is not on us sort of a notion then that limits them to ignorance.. if then atheists start saying well then there is insuffeicent evidence for gods existence then they are asserting that arguments for and against is valid whereby it brings the atheist to a skeptic agnostic which i think is the best that they can do

  • @6gunwalker "there is no god"

  • @6gunwalker

Imagine a universe like ours where there was no idea ever invented that a prime mover could have started it. Now two people are walking down a street and one says to the other "i believe that a loving, super rational all ways present being created us and this universe." Tell me which one is the theist and which one is the atheist and who really has the burden of proof at that juncture! Your lack of sincerity gives me the impression that your in over your head in delusion.

  • @jasmac04 lol so in your very confusing and irelevant example youre trying to point out????? lol let me break it down in a more simplier example...... if X goes to court and claims something is true.. and then Y comes along and refutes that claim and says no that isnt true... then quite logically the burden of proof is on X and Y..... now tell me if Y turns around and says "im sorry the burden of proof is on X as hes making the claims" then quite simply the case is thown out.

  • @6gunwalker

Im pointing out that the default position when it comes to hearing any factual claim (eg god exists) is one of disbelief when there is insufficient evidence for one to believe that such a proposition is true

    disbelief

    refusal or reluctance to believe

    -The free dictionary

Disbelief is not necessarily asserting that god does not exist as that would be a factual claim just like the claim god exists. Burden of proof is on those that claim something is the case. Im trying to show in...

  • @jasmac04 so based on what you just said i can assume that you dont believe in God under no circumstances where evidence is needed???? am i right?? pure atheism...... the problem with that is it reduces you to ignorance.... if you want to be ignorant jasmac04 we can end this discussion as you have no further opinions on the topic.. or lack off it.. game over

  • @6gunwalker

The problem is my strict atheism reduces me to ignorance? Uh yeah of course it does!! Because there is no evidence for god. Im interested to hear how you do not have the same ignorance. "Absence of evidence is evidence of absence" i do believe is a crucial tool since one can assert any number of ideas about anything but they are hardly very instrumental when none of them are proven to be the case! In saying that it is more a guide to help construct an accurate understanding....

  • @jasmac04 im not saying youre ignorant jasmac04 im simply saying that the notion atheism is ignorant as it means disbelief in a god no need for reasons full stop... that means they arent open to the idea that there might possibly be a god... the best an atheist can be is ethier agnostic or verificationist. thats why i say its healthy to have the burden of proof on both sides. to suspend all arguments and make ones mind up to believe that there is no god requires alot of faith lol

  • @6gunwalker We're not open to the idea because there is no evidence, and you're the ones making a positive claim so the burden of proof lies upon you and not on us.

Saying we're the ignorant ones is more than an insult, you obviously have no clue about anything. Now go back to praying to your imaginary friend please.

  • @KreatorRage ok lets play your game.. you say that there is no evidence.. simple truth cause n effect.. lets take yrself for evidence.. do u exist> yes>how do we know>im interacting with you (u think therefore you are)>can you verify that you exist> yes u wud based on yr 5 senses> kreatorRage exists= effects....... cause= who caused yr existence> yr parents reproduced> and so on... for us to come into existence someone had to have created us... reasonable???

  • @6gunwalker

Following your logic we must have been created by someone.

Continuing that logic that someone has to have been created by someone else and that someone else by someone before that.

Or are you a hypocrite saying that the universe couldn't create itself, only God could create himself?

Or that the universe couldn't have existed forever only God has existed forever.

Your logic is flawed because it's based on an old book. Think for yourself, please.

  • @mattiasjornfjord yes my logic follows however when asked "then if that logic continues who created God? my reply is God is eternal, alpha n omega..but to answer in terms of logic.. reply "you cant have an explanation for an explanation" eg.. who created cars? answer = mankind.. fullstop.. do i need an explanation for that explanation? can one go pass that and say "no it was fairies who created cars?" that argument is contradictory and if used in an inquiry it would contradict.

  • @mattiasjornfjord also please save the insults or least keep them to yourself as i have not insulted you, i rather a clean discussion on our beliefs and ideas, and am perfectly well for thinking for my self.

  • @6gunwalker

    Where is the insult?

There was certainly no intended insult.

I asked if you are a hypocrite believing that it's logical that a God can always exist but that a universe needs a creator.

What you are saying is that we can not use logic to explain the world.

The computers we are using can not work because they are using pure logic.

An unbeliever can not sin. Only a believer can.

You base your entire life on one book. Why that book and not the Torah or the Koran?

  • @mattiasjornfjord The universe needs a "creator/cause" because it is finite.Anything that has begun to exist needs a cause. Time, space and matter came into being at the big bang. Therefore there is a cause for it. If this cause itself came into being then it also needs a cause. It is illogical for this chain of events to go on forever because that would be a INFINITE chain of FINITE causes! Therefore, there must be a UNCAUSED first cause for all finite things. It's the only logical conclusion. God

  • @nvutube7 How dare you use the term illogical... Your ravings amount to a non sequitor...

  • @cheradinine8

Do you believe it is logical to have a *infinite* regress of *finite* causes and effects?

Remember, if each part is itself an effect of some other cause, then it is illogical to believe it has an infinite past.

The only logical conclusion is a FIRST UNCAUSED CAUSE (something eternal) started the chain of finite causes and effects we observe (time, space and mater etc.)

Something has always existed (a FIRST UNCAUSED CAUSE.) Unless you believe everything came from nothing.

  • @nvutube7 Not strictly true and you explained why in your comment i.e. Time came into being at the BB. Therefore anything which existed as a cause for it, natural or otherwise (possibly even itself in an alternate form), would be by definition be infinite, as it existed outside of time. This immediately negates the finite causes point, but lets say you're right and an intellegence did kick it all off, how do you show that this thing is Your god? that its notThor or Ra? Evidence? faith?

  • @thebrassdubliner "but lets say you're right and an intellegence did kick it all off, how do you show that this thing is Your god? that its notThor or Ra? Evidence? faith?"

That's quite another argument. But the point I made here is something has always existed. Something eternal, immaterial, and outside of nature.

Ironically fitting the biblical description of God.

    But a short answer is..

    1) The accuracy of Genesis and John’s gospel; 2) The rise of Science; 3) Equality, and 4)Miracles

  • @nvutube7

So if something comes to exist there must be an intelligent cause?

And out of all beliefs in the world only yours is correct?

Read the Koran for example. According to Islam, a person who takes knowledge of Islam and doesn't become a muslim is a sinner. Because Allah created all humans as muslims.

Are you a sinner or do you deny the teachings of Muhammed and Allah?

And why, in that case, is your version of God more correct than the Muslims?

    Just for an example.

  • @mattiasjornfjord "An unbeliever can not sin. Only a believer can."

False, they both can sin, the difference is, one denies it and the other does not.

  • @nvutube7 "False, they both can sin, the difference is, one denies it and the other does not"

Obviously that's just a matter of position, I can equally state that no-one can sin, that there's no such thing AS sin in fact, as it's an action which angers/whatever a god, and there is no god so no sin either.

But, all we'd be doing is stating our positions, not actually making a point and where your position falls down I'm afraid is the total dearth of evidence in its favour.

  • @thebrassdubliner I was merely asserting my position just as he was *without* arguing it. Thinking maybe he would see the flaw in mere assertion. I find this the BEST way for someone to see the flaw in their OWN reasoning.

  • @mattiasjornfjord The lost would rather believe they started as nasty bacteria so when they sin they feel it's justified by their forefathers, their not far off,our real forefathers were sinners ,but not bacteria, man has always been produced by his own kind...

  • @6gunwalker

....of reality. Do you not want a accurate understanding of reality? You would not hold the position that your putting forward when it comes to other supernatural ideas would you, eg zeus, goblins etc? But the idea of a prime mover seems to be exempt from such reasoning. And stop using the notion of faith as if we cannot know ANYTHING for sure because that is absurd and a very useless way of thinking. Oh and what did you really mean by "..reduces you (me) to ignorance.."

  • @jasmac04 jasmac04 atheism reduces one to ignorance as it means disbelief in a god no need fr a reason no need fr evidence... im nt calling u ignorant..i can debunk the notion of zeus and goblins and any other notion of a god as they have no relevence to us, our enviroment, our future and the universe.. very simple.. and god is not exempt from reasoning and if anythng attack the idea with everything u know.. youll find that there had to have been an intelligent entity

  • @6gunwalker

...my long winded example that the proposition that god exists needs to be taken just the same way that you would take the proposition goblins exist. You cannot say that goblins do not exist can you, just like i cannot say god does not exist. So your default position is one of disbelief but not one of belief that goblins do not exists. The position of disbelief does not require evidence when it has not been demonstrated that god exists or that goblins exist.

  • @jasmac04 just because disbelief in god is a negative to the positive argument in belief in god it dont mean that you cant argue a negative. however thats what makes me laugh at atheists when they use this argument, atheist "i dont believe that god exists" believer " thats your view i respect it but i believe that there is a God."... A "your reasons and arguments to believe that god exists?". believer "the same no reasons and evidence you dont require to disbelieve in god. FAITH" lmao

  • @6gunwalker

Atheists are seen to ague against theists as trying to prove god does not exist. Rather atheists are trying to point out that it is silly to have a belief in something that has no evidence for it. Just as it is silly to believe in Zeus, or any number of mind forged creations. Apologists only ever get as far as a deistic god through their probability arguments since they are compelling to some though do not romance me. To assert that one religion is then of that god has not been done

  • @jasmac04 secondly we dont claim zeus.. zeus is a rediculous claim to who God is... its morely based on human egos... jasmac we can have a little debate ourselves if you like.. even though i dont need to as the debate was game over for atheists in the first place lol i wouldnt mind having a few laughs lol now where would you like to start

  • and the world is a little brighter place now ...: ) ..if he had been my son ..I would have killed myself too ..: )

  • First you hazard a thought and then you post another. Public Safety = public beatings.

  • We will miss you Christopher. Thank you for your work!

  • His request to cut the smoking sent chills down my spine... I have decided from here on to stop smoking, i don't want to end as him, as cruel as that may sound, because he is an inspiration to me. Bye Christopher, thanks for everything

  • @biggieboy2510 I might do that too... one day.

  • And that is the last I will comment on this conversation about Left out books of the Bible Giby86 at least in this video's comment you can carry it to private messages but the limited amount of test into these boxes make me unwilling to have to keep it on just to continue in another comment text. But feel free to..

  • @LordEli Fair enough. I'll send a private message.

  • So I will say again Giby I highly doubt you are a Spiritually in tuned person. And Energy being that which flows through our Body and is our life essence and force our soul spirit our Ghost. Being solid evidence for the Spirit and Spirituality of Mankind. Atheists lack the state of Mind to reach the Presence one requires to be intelligent. Atheist's are in denial of so much their claim to freethinking is laughable when they are puppets of the media unlike Christian folk who I respect.

  • @LordEli Yeah, yeah. Blah blah blah. Let's talk about facts, ok? Like, for example, the fact that the Bible is a product of *catholicism* and not christianity. I noticed that you didn't comment on that, you just went ballistic with the good ol' spooky (and meaningless) language of spirit, energy, forces etcetera. That's all fun and games, but what about the Bible? What about the atrocities of catholics? What about you being a catholic without even knowing? Address that, please. Or just shut up.

  • @Giby86 Uhh no it is not. the Bible original texts son were not in latin was not in English but infact came from text from the Hebrew langauge. in which case as we know was Jewish and the majority of the bible which is Old Testatman comes strictly from the Hebrew faith then. they of course Christian came from Jew's after Christ had begun his teaching and then. You have later Romans who adopted Christian forming catholism. So addressing you as I have Again Catholic and Christian 2 seperate beings

  • @Giby86 So you wanna talk about The Bible origins fine indeed. But you will lose out here. I don't follow atheist propagandist gorilla warfare games I strictly use facts historical facts and evidence present by those whom really know wtf they are talking about. And yes I know of books being taken out from the Bible known as Apoc, And indeed they had a great deal of knowledge Book of Enoch alone being well establish as possibly the oldest book that was originally in the bible. So what else?

  • @LordEli True, but what I think you're missing here is that the Bible, or rather the New Testament, was created by catholics. Before that there were a number of other texts, tens of them, which are now considered non canon. But they were NOT "taken out" from the Bible; it's just that when the Bible was invented, they were LEFT out. So again, I'm asking you: if you defend christianity as opposed to catholicism, why are you also defending the Bible and ignoring, for example, the Gospel of Thomas?

  • @Giby86 You don't get the point all that information that went into the creation of the Bible the book we have today originally came from the peeps who were there. What you obviously don't get is it was not created from fiction but a telling of actual events. If you research this you'd know. It seems you are trying to insinuate that Jesus was created by catholic fiction. You a fool if you think that. Because He was also recorded in Jewish History for his claim and...

  • @Giby86 There is even an Eypgtian Christian community which recorded the times which was etched in stone and these people handed their stories diown from generation about Jesus's childhood before going back up to native home. for one Jesus didn't have a twin and Thomas the arthur of this book was written some 5-600 years after Christ's real disciples. so that book in all reality can not be held as a true account.

  • @Giby86 And knowing as I do about god' and Spirits in general demons angels etc. And would also speak of Jesus as a divine being. to claim he was married to Mary the idea itself is blasphemy . Cause understanding the true nature of the divine and Eternal being and beings that are spirit. Sexuality is important and as spirit doesn't truely exist this is Phsyical beings needs. Jesus wasn't here to have offspring or take wives. therefore. The Most important Left out book as you say is Enoch

  • dec 20 he will not be taking part in the prayer(I don't pray too), sadly he was right, he died before that.

  • @hihellohowareyou1000 its awful that people like him are the faces of America... i wish i could say that the majority arent like him but i would be hard pressed to believe myself. lol

  • The world (both theists and atheists) has lost an intellectual.

  • If you Atheist did read the bible Correctly and spoke honestly on the subjet he and you all would then have to admit the Only acts of atrocious evil were Not commited By God nor Christian's or the faithful but by those of the nonfaith. And it is an accurate report of history. And then would be forced to admit that Christian's are seekers of truth Light and righteousness and turn away from evil and by actions restrain from commiting such acts. But no you slander Christian's just as Hitchen had.

  • @LordEli So, let me get this straight: if we read the Bible we would know things about history? Including moments of history AFTER the Bible was written? Is that what you're saying?

  • @Giby86 Actually that very well could be said. because as the bible was indeed written its events which happen in the past which were noted very true proven. Each event in the bible is very comparative to whats going on in the past 2 thousands years on up to the present. And including the Revelation Prophecies precisely stating exactly for what events which are happenign today and within the past 60 years. Live in the end times son, And soon or later you will admit that

  • @LordEli Really. It's strange that in the Bible there is no mention of any of the atrocities the Church has done in God's name. Plus, be aware that what you're referring to is interpretation of prophecies. In the Bible there is no mention of any real, historical event of today.

  • @Giby86 Because moron the Church has NEVER Done any atrocious things. Roman Catholic's and Politicians did indeed do so but a Christian never has. Don't go confusing the 2, Don't Slander Christianity with the works of Catholics and their King's and Politics cause indeed you'd be false accusing and confusion 2 different things. Catholic's and Christian's are indeed 2 seperate things.research and you'd know that.

  • @LordEli I perfectly know that. "christianity" refers to the very first couple of centuries following the life of Jesus, whereas "catholicism" refers to the organization of the church into a hierarchy, happened within the Roman Empire. Fun fact, the Bible was put together by early catholics. Before that, every properly christian community had its own pool of texts which they considered to be sacred, and many of them are today seen as apocryphal.

  • @Giby86 Well whoopty do you've impressed me that you done a lil research but then how much have you absorbed, Of course I highly doubt you have absorb any of that knowledge you speak of considering that you are no doubt another atheist turd that can pick up a book speed read through it without actually. putting your spirit to work you know thought. Thought the Mind Soul and essence of the human being that which seperates man from other life on this planet. Without the Spirit there is no thought

  • Now I see why he went the way he did not believig in God, he wishes their was no God but deep within he does know there is. He lost his mother and brother in a tragic way.

  • @Alaric1213 Do not try to speak for someone else..... he is very clear on his thoughts... thank you

  • Christians really can't accept the fact that we have no fear of death.

  • Now he is just what he always dreamed of becoming, earth fertilizer. Yey way to save the planet, his contribution to the earth worms will be much appriciated, remember the "circle of life". LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

  • @LordEli would you say the same every time a Jew, Muslim or Homosexual dies?

  • @LordEli Darwin was a theist. at one point he studied to become a priest. if you believe in heaven, you have to believe that Darwin is there. this shows exactly how moronic you are and how little you think for yourself.

  • @LordEli My, how very Christian of you.

  • @LordEli It appears to me that you are somewhat upset. Is this because part of what you hate in this life has left you and your hateful and despising attitude towards another human being is no more.

I know its very difficult for you to recognise a self respecting individual who seeked the truth instead of bygone myths and fables but thats exactly what Christopher was,a seeker of the truth.

You enjoy your day disrespecting the dead whilst we atheists try our best to comfort those who loved him.

  • @LordEli Ah... so very Christian of you...

What on earth ever happened to this:

"Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. " Colossians 3:13

"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven." Luke 6:37

And you call yourself a Christian... pathetic.

  • @potsmokindino Do you even understand what a Christian is? and Are you that illiterate you can't read my fucking profile and then realize that I do not claim to be Christian, because I am not worthy of being a Christian they are better than you me and definately better than this peice of shit dead asshole Hitchens. You need to learn to read before you go flinging statements around about the wrong people Asswipe. Don't quote the bible when you aren't worthy to touch that divine knowledge.

  • @LordEli =D

  • @LordEli Right back at ya =)

  • @LordEli yawn

  • @DarronTheDamaga Letting your soul out are ya? pitiful thing you are

  • yawn

  • @LordEli mate being a better person has nothing to do with belief tell me how was this man ever evil to another human being other than questioning peoples blind faith you cannot class them as wicked for their opinions only for their actions which his were never evil

  • @brasher01 It's quite obvious. when a Moron like him that right he was a fucking moron. Sit's there and dares pretend that is right and has all the answers and calls anyone who thinks different than he was a moron and crazy pretty much shows that his slanders and baseless attacks make him evil. It its obvious he and all atheists are not as well read on the Bible as they claim cause if they did.

  • @potsmokindino they never follow their own supposed rules anyway yet they claim to be of that religion. I know its pathetic to revel in the death of someone that just believed differently. RIP Christopher Hitchens, u make me proud to be English

  • @potsmokindino You yourself was judging too. See "And you call yourself a Christian... pathetic."
