  • thank you so much for these reports on canadian issues as i have been looking for a reliable canadian news source. the usual mainstream outlets just don't cut it in my opinion.

  • @poetryluva

This is not a bullshit statement!

Did I tell some truth that it cannot be said?

Did I tell something that is not correct?

How do you know that his wife is telling the truth?

How do you know that the evidence is unreliable?

Usually defence lawyers spread rumors in public in order to make justice system look bad!

I would like to see the other side of the story as well!

  • I think the fact that it is a secrect trial is the major issue here, and besides France will not extradite their nationals

  • Some more terrorists playing the Canadian system

  • Another terroist living in Canada , is anyone surprised ?

  • Secret evidence sets a trap for the people. In fact the mantra that "ignorance of the law is no excuse" sets a trap for the people - the number of laws in Canada number in the tens of thousands, no one knows them all, and yet you could get busted on any one of them. Remember the Public Works Protection Act, an obscure law that got resurrected when the authorities wanted mass arrests and maximum police aggression at the G20.

  • Free Marc Emery!!!

  • Recent stories suggest that Canada's security apparatus is feeling a bit inadequate about their virility. Lots of strap-on right wings flapping about. Is this the beginning of a general social overreaction to Canada's mellow image?

  • So they are objecting the extradition of a suspect to another country that has an independent justice system!

Which human rights are violated when a suspect from one country with an independent justice system is extradited to another country that also has a an independent justice system!

This is looking like a fly in the soup!

Or do these human rights activists do not want justice to prevail?

  • @malsifood They are saying he should have the right to defend himself, cross-examine the prosecution, see the evidence presented against him. Not be held in solitary confinement, not be made to pay exhorbitant costs of his own trial (GPS monitoring). What exactly seems fair about this "trial"?

  • @donteatthefishsticks

    I know I know!

But if a country that has a well functioning justice system having a trial against somebody that hides in another place, doing all he can, not to brought to justice, is very strange!

What is your interest? Protecting criminals, or getting the facts straight in a fair trial?

  • @malsifood Getting the facts straight in a fair trial and protecting the innocent from government abuse. I realize France has a well-functioning justice system, but that doesn't mean I trust the French state (or the Canadian state) when they want to present evidence in secret, that is why we have due process and the notion of innocent until proven guilty. Any innocent citizen would fight extradition, wouldn't they? I would. I don't trust the Canadian state, let alone the French state.

  • @donteatthefishsticks

All i can see is: hillbilly defending islamists!

I trust in the justice system of western countries! I don't trust Muslims, since in quran Muslims are told to lie in order to deceive the kuffars (unbelievers).

  • @malsifood Hillbilly? Where? Only a fool trusts any justice system. That is the whole point of due process and "innocent until proven guilty." The treatment of this individual would seem to violate due process. If this can happen to Hassan Dias, it can happen to you or me. You seem to be operating from the point of view that he is guilty. If he is guilty, then okay, let's have a fair trial, let him see the evidence presented against him, not make him pay out of pocket for his own captivity, etc.

  • @donteatthefishsticks

Whow you are saying that any justice system cannot be trusted!

So then trust all bandits, robbers, terrorists, law-breakers.

Elect the ignorant, iliterate and mafiosi to represent you and defend your rights!

You would be better off, wouldn't you!

  • @malsifood Of course not. But why would you trust any institution, or power centre? Restrictions on government, including constitutional rights like the right not be deprived of liberty without due process of law, and the notion of innocent until proven guilty, are based on distrust of government. If the evidence the French have is so good, let them present it. Anyone has the right to face their accuser!

  • @donteatthefishsticks

So, the judge will decide if this man gets extradited! You can protest as much as you like! They have their procedures how to do that and they have to follow these rules. Because they are judges that must only obey the law! And I don't care if you or some others believe that man is innocent!

It is important that the rules are the same for all! And if you don't like these rules, you might change them if you get more than 50% voters with you!

  • @malsifood The judge will decide if the man gets extradited and the judge will also decide if the rules and the justice system's treatment of Hassan Diab are unconstitutional or not. I don't know anything about him and have no opinion at all on his guilt or innocence. It seems like you do though. I simply want the Canadian government to do right by him - and everyone - and it doesn't look like that is happening right now, if you watch the video. I agree, the rules must be the same for all.

  • @donteatthefishsticks

Of course the judges will do a correct work! The canadian government has nothing to do with that case! It is the justice department, that hopefully acts without any influence of the government! "Separation of powers" is what it is called, and this principle is well adopted in Canada! I am shure of that!

  • LOOK AT ALL THESE DUMB NAIVE CANADIANS PROMOTING TERRORISM!

  • Comment removed

  • @Hillsillverr what the fuck r u talking about? how promoting terrorism????

  • @Hillsillverr the only way we promote terrorism is to keep electing the bozos we do. who exactly do you THINK r the real terrorists anyway? the muslims??? cause they aren't. if you can't see through what has been done then that's your problem.

  • @itstime4change13 LoL r u saying the muslims are innocent, they are not a political cult with an agenda that disregards human life, not including animals!?

Like i said ur a dumb and naive idiot! Do the world a favour and look at the big picture on what islam really is on this planet! All these religions are a plegue on humanity in every way possible. But the worst of them all is islam, then scientology etc..

  • @Hillsillverr i do look at the big picture, not the one that's been shown to the world on CNN and FOX. lmao. i know what i've been told by soldiers that have come back!!! they aren't there for the reasons you think. but you just keep thinking what you do, it just plays into the hate game they try to get their little sheep to play. so baaaaaaa little sheep. baaaaa. go talk to your friend the ostrich who also has his head stuck in the ground.

  • @itstime4change13 Wrong again, i dont watch american news at all. And yes islam is a huge burden on society, and the CIA is doing a fine job dismanteling ur islamic countries in the middle east. First its democracy then its the new generation of atheists, in a few decades islam will be history. Along with all the other lame religions! Its not about hate, its about freedom!

  • @Hillsillverr okey dokey smokey. you have a distorted view of freedom, but that's ok. i'm sure racism will not be part of the future...

  • This saddens and angers me.

My loyalty to Canada is fading and all that remains is resolve. If we revert to revolutionary riots I hope we focus our rage on the REAL targets, the finaciers. The government is nothing more then their puppets, we all know that.

Demanding the resgination of Harper would be good, but until we cut the head off of the Rothchild's secret banking cartel, organized evil will persit.

The road to liberty is paved in the blod of patriots and tyrants (aka bankers)

  • @ulgrum So if the man was involved in a bombing that killed innocents you dont think we should extradite? France will make their case, the court will see if there is sufficient grounds for a trial in France. If evidence is there send him to stand trial. Or would you have sheltered former SS officers that fled here hidden by ODESSA at the end of WW2?

  • @ulgrum even though i agree with the basic premise of your comment, i hope you mean "blod" symbolically. because killing people is not an honorable, decent way to go about changing something. and "patriot" is just a word used to control people - "if you are a patriot, you do this". "flags - bits of colored cloth that governments use first to shrink-wrap peoples brains and then as ceremonial shrouds to bury the dead" (arundhati roy)

  • @ulgrum i was just reminded of another great quote by a not at all great man (hermann goering) who had the following to say - and patriotism plays a vital role:

"The people can always be brought to do the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

  • We are left with but ONE option now people.. we must be the freedom movement that saves liberty. It's time.

  • I wish everyone would stop being surprised when they catch the state being the state.

  • I am not the best fan of muslims, but what is happening with this case is rediculous.

I am getting convinced that the only way to fix the sistem is revolt. Domocracy has faild us.

  • @slonamu People have been trying to "fix" the system for hundreds of years. Why would you think that repeating what people have been doing for centuries will somehow result in a "fixed" system. It's the belief that there has to "be" a system that is flawed.

If you believe you need a politician to control your life, and you think they constitute a net benefit to you then I suppose you could go ahead and "fix" the system.

  • @slonamu"not the best fan of muslims" I guess you know personally 1.5billion muslims.. Thats one of the most rediculous blanket statments i hear all the time...

  • God...this makes me so mad as a Canadian citizen! What the Hell is wrong with this picture here?!

Every government is corrupt! Even ours! We need to start focusing and digging up more Canadian government crimes. This is the time when all citizens of every country should be waking up & saying, "wait...is something like this happening in my country too?", instead of arguing about whose land is better or something. It's all dirt, people! The boarders are all in our heads. We're all on one planet.

  • @GrowTheTruth oh yes... even the swedes, who are generally considered to be very progressive... well, i suppose you know why julian assange is fighting so hard against extradition to sweden. but i don't know whether you know (because i did not for quite a while) that that is based on the fact that sweden e.g. approved US rendition flights through their country.

  • @notthere83 No. I didn't know that! That just fucking angers me! Assange and Madding are heroes, goddamnit! Fuck the governments!

  • Canada's extradition system is broken, what a mess!

check out pierre-henri bunel's story, carried by "the wayne madsen report: al qaeda - the database"

  • compare to: watch?v=Zb_0h2IxOqc - an excellent vignette on the modern interpretation of Kafka's "The Trial" as it relates to these "secret" trials where no evidence is given, where the crime is proven by the arrest. Worth five minutes of your time.

  • @slewofdamascus Yep - good link. corbett does some great reporting. Ta
