  • what's less than a penny....so the stencils are free?

  • go eagles!!

  • i could so imagine a swastika on that knife in the end

  • You have to question the product when they don't even show the mark they just made. He made the mark on one side of the blade but the side he shows you after making the mark is the other side of the blade. If they are not honest right off the bat in their demonstration it really makes you wonder about the product itself.

  • put your name on it

  • ......why would u pay to burn your knives?

  • What is used as electrolite??

I will try some with saltwater + caustic

Rest can be made at home for under 5$

  • this is like $95 for the base model

  • nice!! i might buy this for my knives and tools.

  • @Cowboy3590

I worry about the time and quality of the mark. The markings shown can be done in seconds if the machine has the power and the screen is tight. Guys bought some etchers like this and tossed them. Marking methods or Electro Chem Etch of Ca sells a great system. Printing silk screens for a fee and sells rolled wax type paper to be used with old dot matrix printer. If this is good, post a video from start to finish and show the mark after,. No showing the other side. Best of luck,

  • shitty

  • If you notice the mark is not even on the same side that he etched. This unit doesn't work!!!!! I have it and I tried a lot of different techniques and I only had one nice looking mark out of 20

  • That's funny,

I've neverheard of one happy user/buyer of this product.

    Apparently really blurry.

    Thanks for sharing

  • can it mark white logos or words?

  • Well, I'm somewhat neutral on this Etch-O-Matic. It is quick and produces readable marks, however, the marks also appear to be low quality and low resolution, which sharply reminds me of the etching found on factory mades.

However, for a begginer (which I am), this would be a good start until you find something that provides higher quality marks.Therefore..think I'll look into it. Ty for the vid =)

If I do buy one, I'll use it until I learn how to engrave.

  • I'm buying this O.O

Well maybe gota check that website first >.>

Would be totally useful for like a million projects of mine :)

  • cool how much does an etch-o-matic cost?
