  • I remember when I had so much momentum going for the ball that when I dived I bounced and hit my chin and split it open, which required stitches, ha ha

  • for a normal dive kneepads are not necessary, but in a game the ball is not always in front of you, so when jumping to the side, you might land on your knees.

  • @CourtCalica U really don't need kneepads if u know how to dive. most high level players don't go sliding around on their knees. kneepads are just there to protect ur knees if u happen to fall the wrong way

  • I realise the video is just trying to show us the actions how to dive, but its not the best demonstration ive ever seen as he's only about a foot away from the ball!!!
