I'm SOOOO glad I found this!

As a learner of Irish I am getting pretty sick and tired of traditional music.

I kept asking people if they knew of any modern music in Irish and nobody knew of any.

Iontach! Please tell me this is the future. I've been listening to trad. Irish music for ten years, but only started learning the language a few months ago (I'm American). And wow - would I love more modern music like this to learn from.

Check out my channel page then. About half of the videos are mdern rock, check "Oinseach" for example. All with subs in Irish for learners.

A lot of the songs come from "Ceol" albums, which come out once year , "Ceol 08" and "Ceol 09" were the best - Might be on iTunes if you want to look. Also User Cambridge96 has a great similar channel you can run a search.
