I actually wish more airports had smoking lounges. This way, it would eliminate BOTH the problems of illicit smoking in bathrooms(a common practice in airports without such indoor lounges), and smoking very close to airport building entrances.
Too bad there are so few airports in the U.S. with either them or a bar you could smoke at, save for limited exceptions(including Gulfport-Biloxi, Oklahoma City, Denver, Salt Lake City, Cincy-Northern Kentucky, Atl. Hartsfield, + Saint Louis Lambert).
i'd feel lucky to have an indoor smoking place, but would prefer smoking anywhere and everywhere like when i was 12 in the 80's :-) It was "don't ask don't tell" smoking policy with my non-smoking parents on trips and such...
