@RabbitDance Same question I've been considering ... I have a huge archive of poetry written for chidren during 25+ years teaching. The publishing world isn't really something I want to battle, so what I'm doing is printing my own collection (laser & good quality paper) and having it bound for passing on to my daughter and grandaughter. I did consider Lulu but there are several uploads in which past users' of that system recount their horror stories. There's more to life than chasing ink!
yeah good point. I guess its the same with music. I dont care if its universal or sony. as long as its good im going to buy it.
also i like how the lady in the back between 1:11 and 1:20 has no regard for books at all. Knocks them over...looks at them...decides not to fix them.....then has the nerve to go back to the shelf further on in the video and pick out another book...still not fixing them. shame on her! lol
I really think you should expand that to "3" things for which people search: Author, Title and Topic.
"Topic" I think mostly applies to non-fiction subjects. Looking for books about "Health Care" or "Politics" etc.. While in "Fiction" -more people are looking for a certain "Title" or "Author" - which will be divided into genres.
Ironically, Borders is now out of business.

Book promotion is more difficult than book writing, IMHO. A good book on book promotion could be most helpful!!!

1:15 books fall over in backround, 1:17 lady's face is, "WTF happened to those books?"

@FutureKnut I'm pretty sure it was a free jingle I found in Garage Band / iMovie on the Mac
