There were so many great musicals made...they never seem to show any on TV anymore...just the same old same old 50 movies...If they show Crocodile Dundee one more time I will SCREAM! This looks great. x
i really really really really like this!!!!monkey treasure, thanks, keep the good stuff comin, i saw this the first time ever, yesterday, now i am watching over and over, just like murder, he said. i grew up after her career, so now, that i am retired, i am studying all the stuff from my late moms generation, like the big band music, i heard them play on the stereo, but now, i am lovin it all. thanks, monkeyman.
It's interesting, the studio version of this is quite different ... Betty sings it slower and softer (at times anyway!). It took me a while to get used to the other version aftering seeing this movie, but I like both of them of course.
Monkeytreasures - you are really spoiling us Betty fans with something different for a change. Thank you!
I love her, but she'd 'a' Killed Me!

Great post! I believe that Betty recorded a jazzier version of I Wake Up In The Morning Feeling Fine, is that so?
