Wendell was okay, but the show was not the same without Charley. Him and Floyd were a great comedy team. The show lost a lot of comedic edge without them. Smiley's death affected the series just as much as that of Bea Benaderet.

Luckily Floyd returns in the final season. Agree anyone?

This is great, Nickel, I love classic television! "Can we keep him?"  that's funny. I like the dog too, he may be more talented than Fostabelle, lol.

@butterfly7704 The dog in question also played Benji in the "Benji" movies in the 70s. he was one smart dog. Higgins was his real name I do believe, although if I'm wrong I'm sure one of the faithful will gently correct me. lol

@1964nickel I know. Yeah, nothing has changed. lol I wish there were more Dr's like Dr Stuart. He was a cool Dr. I also liked the Dr over on 'My Three Sons'. Dr Osborne. There's something about the small town Dr's that I like.
