At this point, we all can only conjecture and have opinions, about the truth behind after-life/ reincarnation. However, unless we remember our past life, a new birth doesnt really mean much on the face of it. well it's an accepted "fact" in eastern religion (hinduism, buddhism, jainism) that there is a repeated cycle of birth and death and your next life is decided by your karma. first of all, reincarnation is not something you meditate to do. secondly, energy cannot be destroyed it can only transform therefor when we die we simply leave the body. just because we dont understand how yet doesnt mean we simply cease to be. and lastly. physics still affects us outside the body, we simply do not have the technology to detect them clearly unless we can solidify enough to make a form. there are experiments to use particles of energy to "view" this form clearly, not light.

If it's down stream, your life is easy going, you know what's coming and how to by pass any problems. Upstream means diffculties ahead. You don't see the rocks cause of the white water hiding them. Quantum mechanics says no such thing. Information requires using energy to organize matter to contain information; entropy can disorganize the matter/energy, so the information is lost.

I can understand what this guy felt. I don't know what really is or not but there are things I know, feelings I have, that cannot be explained by the experiences of my current life up to now. There are certain things from a life I could not possibly lived that have haunted me in a way that cannot be explained in any way other than I miss it. It's as if I was removed from a life at the height of living it and want to go back. I was deeply in love with someone & we had very strong feelings.
I had an experience where I nearly died, I felt my heart slowing down and I could see myself at different stages of my life ( in terms of the way I thought at different times) after that it was quiet and dark for a while and I remembered a place and some faces and I realized that I was speaking and that my accent was scottish.
I had no belief in re-incarnation before that event but I can't hear enough about it now. There is something to it!

@freddiedread You do need solid facts. Testimony is an excellent starting point though. In the example you gave, my child's testimony would warrant some research. If the things he says show up in recorded history then that would be solid evidence for reincarnation. If you watch the video that's exactly what the police chief did. It has been suggested that the notion of hell was either a missunderstanding by the translators or that they introduced the idea when it was finaly translated. I have always believed in reincarnation and if there is a heaven then shorly thats where you would expect the soul to go before its next incarnation.

At this point, we all can only conjecture and have opinions, about the truth behind after-life/ reincarnation. However, unless we remember our past life, a new birth doesnt really mean much on the face of it. Perhaps, we do carry some old baggage related to our nature, likes and dislikes.. but really, think- as if 'right now' we are a reincarnated soul, remembering nothing of the past... if u were given this knowledge today, how wud it change things in ur life..? wud u live differently?

first of all, reincarnation is not something you meditate to do. secondly, energy cannot be destroyed it can only transform therefor when we die we simply leave the body. just because we dont understand how yet doesnt mean we simply cease to be. and lastly. physics still affects us outside the body, we simply do not have the technology to detect them clearly unless we can solidify enough to make a form. there are experiments to use particles of energy to "view" this form clearly, not light.

I for one am still dealing with some things that happened in the past, and unlike most people, i have vivid memories, not requiring any hypnosis (which im skeptical of). it might be that people who simple do remember their past lifes don't quite undertand how past life memories are still valuable in the present.

I had to do the same thing looking for someone I saw in my dreams for the past twenty years. I even drew a sketch of the man and I found him, but I was too shocked to get any information from him besides his first name. Here I site running the films of Edgar Cayce and ended up with a Police officer believing in being reincarinated. I then researched Edgar Cayce and religion. I found none. Now I watched this and it just lead me away from the belief in Jesus Christ and to another way of thinking. A good place to start would be to go back for more regression sessions and having gathered the facts, -attempt to falsify them with the diary. Animals can be reincarnated as human once they reach a certain point in their ascension, but I have heard (through Linda Goodman's Star Signs) that once you reach that point you cannot reincarnate as an animal again until you reach a certain point in your human ascension.

If it's down stream, your life is easy going, you know what's coming and how to by pass any problems. Upstream means diffculties ahead. You don't see the rocks cause of the white water hiding them. Quantum mechanics says no such thing. Information requires using energy to organize matter to contain information; entropy can disorganize the matter/energy, so the information is lost.

You CAN'T automatically assume that every possible definition of 'information' applies to ALL uses of the word. This is autistic logic. In your own example, "brain matter" contains 10 pieces of information. It decays into "brain sludge" which contains 6 pieces of information, the other 4 being released as energy (heat). All 10 pieces still exist, nothing is destroyed.

I can understand what this guy felt. I don't know what really is or not but there are things I know, feelings I have, that cannot be explained by the experiences of my current life up to now. There are certain things from a life I could not possibly lived that have haunted me in a way that cannot be explained in any way other than I miss it. It's as if I was removed from a life at the height of living it and want to go back. I was deeply in love with someone & we had very strong feelings.

I had an experience where I nearly died, I felt my heart slowing down and I could see myself at different stages of my life ( in terms of the way I thought at different times) after that it was quiet and dark for a while and I remembered a place and some faces and I realized that I was speaking and that my accent was scottish.
I had no belief in re-incarnation before that event but I can't hear enough about it now. There is something to it!

@zimmermanxoxo I agree with discoverngc. While I don't believe in reincarnation OR souls I think it's entirely possible that what we call a soul is an emergent effect of the intelligence we have obtained. The video IS testamonial evidence and if you find the police chief is credible then that would warrent further investigation. However no ammount of credible testamony would prove reincarnation, so in that sense I also agree with you.

i don't quite agree, if SO MANY testimonies say similar things and mention past life information...I think it would be ignorant to discredit the concept of reincarnation. there is no absolute in your hands proof I agree, but due to the fact you don't believe a man has a soul you are obviously going to discredit reincarnation.
I personally feel you are missing out on the true beauty of life which is its mystery

@freddiedread let me rephrase: No amount of credible TESTIMONY would prove reincarnation. You need testable facts to prove something. If your logic holds then both christianity and bhudism would be the correct religion to follow. Just because many people have a common belief / experience does not mean that the conclusions they make based on said experiences are correct.

@kaje01 i don't agree that you/I need SOLID FACTS to prove something which is non-physical. facts would be great.....but how does one prove something that is beyond his field of vision or understanding?..and beyond the MATERIAL realm.
its a pointless argument to undertake if you are looking for hard evidence.

@kaje01 @kaje01 if your child said to you when he/she learnt to speak "dad, i remember my life before this one.." then they proceed to give you information about places and names that they should by right never know..... then I think you might open your mind to the very real concept of reincarnation.
maybe try a past life regression, you got nothing to lose...
you may be amazed... peace.
p.s. yes i know testimony proves nothing SCIENTIFIC.
but are you ONLY satisfied with scientific answers?

@freddiedread You do need solid facts. Testimony is an excellent starting point though. In the example you gave, my child's testimony would warrant some research. If the things he says show up in recorded history then that would be solid evidence for reincarnation. If you watch the video that's exactly what the police chief did. It's not beyond our field of understanding and it is testable. "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence"

In the end you know that reincarnation is reserved to OUR RACE this is not a cool thing 'cause the world is becoming more little and dark and dangerous based on deception and steel machines,so the awakening becomes more difficult and hard to understand...look at Hitler,what he did....he was partially awakened but he also was possessed by an ancient rage that drow him mad, and I felt the same rage sometimes,'cause the beast is poisoning our hearts

years ago I had a flood of dreams, memories via major events in my life and in lucid dreams-something I had seen and then began to research triggered this process. It took a few years of observation, research, and continuing present life events to accept knowledge, awareness of my previous existence. I can happen and actually it has helped to understand my emotions in this current life.

My mans mom believes in reincarnation, her dad died when she was a teen, my man is named after her dad, she said due to family resemblance my man looks like her dad and acts like her dad, well my mans mother has always had dark hair and my mans dad had white blonde hair and he had white blonde hair as a baby like his father had as a child. Now he has dark hair and looks like his mom, my kids will end up looking like me.

Lilike, Locke & Anjeni-Katalin when they were babies looked like my mans Dad as babies because as a baby my man resembled his Father, as my man grows to look like his Mother more and more now his hair is dark as my children grow they tend to look more like me. I don't believe my man is a reincarnation of his Mans Mom. I do love her son and our children we had together.

personnaly, i dont think that when you die your "spirit or soul" will go in another body. Howerver, i think that when we die, we will than live in another body, as if our consciousness was created anew. I think that because, well, why would i only live once? If i could live once then maybe i can live even twice or more! In short,i think that conciousness itself is an illusion created by my brain, and that this illusion can be created again in another brain when i will die.
