I think 1 dollar in the 50's is equivalent to 8 or so dollars today. But I was still born in the wrong generation. I really wish I could have been born in the 1950's.

It's perfectly fine to like old music and wish there was more instead of the kind that we have now. But... I don't get those people who say they wish they were born back then. I mean, the only way you'd live an average life is if you were a Caucasian male. There was also WW2 to worry about and communists.
