  • didnt really like it mate

  • I was just reading some comments below. My husband is Sindhi( Indian) and he eats beef and anything else he wants. His view is God cares about who he is as a person, not what he eats. It's about survival. People all over the world eat what they must to live. There are climates that don't favor vegetarian diet. There are people reared from childhood to eat bugs, snakes and things we may not. Who cares? We all just have to survive and do what we feel is right for us.

  • Looks awesome!

  • i dont think that enough for 8person..

  • SHE DID ALL WRONG THINGS , NOT A REAL OR IN OTHER WORDS GOOD RECPEY , I WILL RATE HER 2 OUT OF 10.

  • @jemirates - did wrong things like ?

  • You added all stuff in one time , all Ingredients needed to be cook on certain heart and time and different stages , Mixing all stuff together kills real aroma TASTE of all stuff you have you have mixed Ingredients were in RIGHT amount ,But just the Timings to add onion ,beef, water , spices ........ Just wrong .

  • if you want to add potato to it, when should you add it? potatoes cook faster than beef, should I add them later, I do not want it to be too mushy.

  • @baltimoredude1 - that would be the right thing to do. Cook the meat first, when it is tender then add them

  • Thank you so much

  • i ..i can smell it ;]

  • @KeepEuropeWhite Ur right.

Some people eat all the parts of the animals like Cow brain, kidney, stomach, tongue, .....nothing goes waste.

Forget about letting rats run all over their food, People in China eat them, even snakes, most insects, frogs....

Interesting, humans eat more variety of foods than Animals.

  • If cow is sacred............why are dey left in garbage area in India??

n why people are eatin ur sacred cow

i mean no offense but jus curiosity

  • @MyKatini Even Snakes are sacred man, they pour milk & eggs on them & torture them.

Tigers are also sacred, buy some people Burnt it as they say it attack some guy, after it got captured in a cage by Forrest officials.

Beef is mostly eaten by low caste Hindus, so others dont want to associate with it & people in India feel that by not Eating beef, they will become Holy.

    Holy sh!t.

    :)

Try hot water instead of cold. The flavor will explode and it takes less time to cook. Best wishes

  • I have made this dish several times now...exactly as you said, exept I use tinned tomatoes instead of fresh ones...got to say though...it is absolutely delicious !!! thanks very much for this Sfehmi !

  • thanxxxx alot its great

  • seems yum...let me try this out n get back to you next weekend...inshallah

  • keep living

  • It was very tasty. Now, I know 3 different styles of cooking beef. Thanks again.

  • Awesome. I am gonna make it for dinner. I will comment later on how it turns out. Thanks. Keep Posting.

  • What sort of beef is this? Stewing beef?

  • Yes Stewing beef goes well.

  • Was that a pressure cooker pot ur were using ? If so can u cook this is a regular pot also ?

  • Yes - I used a pressure cooker. Yes you can cook it in a regular pot. It will take longer. If you plan to do that I would suggest you use meat tenderizer to spead up the process of cooking the meat.

  • Just tried this recipe tonight and I loved it. I served it over jasmine rice with some flatbreads...was wonderful. You have used mustard oil a few times in some recipes, would you recommend it for use with cooking fish?

  • yes - mustard oil goes well with fish.

  • Can you post do pyaza gosht recipe

  • Hi Sehba..am Hindu and don't eat beef. But I liked the methodology of this recipe. Simple! No frying onions and pureeing tomatoes etc....maybe i should try it with lamb.

    ty

  • I totally understand. Normally I cook this dish with mutton, so it will be perfect. Just make sure and be careful as to the time. Mutton usually does not take that long to cook.

    Thanks

  • Hey...I tried two of ur recipes recently. Your fish curry. Only...it was Rohu fish...river water. I applied haldi and salt and fried the peices before in mustard oil and kept them aside...then followed ur recipe to the T and added the fish....my wife loved it. Also made ur chicken pulao which the kids liked as it aint that spicy. Thanks a lot pal.

  • Taejpatta,

Thanks- will appreciate if you can copy and paste your comment to Channel comment section. That way more people can see what you did - it is all about trying.

  • That is another dish. I will put it on my list

    Thx for the suggestion

  • I wish u can add potatos in it next time

  • Looks good I'll have to give it a try, thanks for posting. I love Indian food.

  • Good curry dish. You are really showing how to make good curries.

  • Why don't you drain it instead of over cooking it? Because 30 min on High is a lot of time... and then, you are adding more water and give it 30 minutes more???? You are killing all the properties of the meat and the tomatoes...

  • I think if you drain out the water you may be draining out the spices and the nutrients.

  • because the meat wont be tender enough

  • yummy :-)
