can u buy just the press for $500 and start reloading or do u have to buy all the bells and whistles.im just trying to reload 9mm and 44 magnum. which press should i buy. also what should i buy in adition to just the press
@hulkbuster1026 . Yes you can. The "bells and whistles" make the machine what it is. Without the case, primer and powder feeder it becomes a slower process. The Lee machine is cheaper, a turret even more so and then a hand press the cheapest. The 650 comes standard without case feeder and dies. I use Lee dies and don't have a powder indicator making it slightly cheaper. Best of luck

Thanks. I reckon about. The 650 is just such a smooth press and simple to use.

What do you have in the feeder besides brass . Is that some kind of stainless steel curls,.

Yea, the missus uses it for scrubbing pots... I use it to just tumble the brass and polish it.
