Neither Beasties nor Eminem are in any way close to Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Stones, Nirvana, AIC, Metallica, Bob Marley, or anybody that can actually play instruments. They are the same thing more or less over and over, and I'm not the only one who thinks it. They are twentieth century. They suck in this century. Buhbye, posey c-rapola. Join the past. You can wish that they were good, but they are boring, minus maybe 5 songs.

(i went to that fest only for madness) we can not deny their contribution in rap history. and there are some artists who i don't like listening too (like elvis f.e.) but i understand what's his place in music history.

No, I dont like Eminem. In fact I dont like rap in general, besides PE, NWA, and Grandmaster Flash. Its been a blight on music. Some BB songs are ok, but bs like Sure Shot etc makes them sound like the wigger rappers they are. Samples are limited. There's a limit to what you can do, and then its up to your intrument chops, and they ain't got much. I will say the Letterman gig where they rhymed in the street and came into the studio. That showed talent. This clip sure does not.

They tried backing up Elvis Costello, and practically made it impossible for him to finish his song. They are not pro-level on their instruments. If they were, they would be known for it. Ripping off a substandard music style is not

'credible'. Even I am surprised how tedious and dated their early music sounds to me now, though I was never a big fan. They picked up instruments for Sabotage, and got lucky. They should've developed those skills, but that would be untrue to the rap tradition of general laziness. Rap is for children, and long ago lost its edge.
