Yeah, the U.S. certainly deserves to be boycotted ... but it ain't practical for most people in other countries, whereas there's a specific and increasingly effective boycott against Israel, much like the boycott of apartheid South Africa a few decades ago. Cohen was asked by many people to cancel his concert in Israel.

I'll be going for Ron Paul for how he has helped bring the Fed darkness to light and his long overdue Foreign Policy-would Washington and Ike would be right behind. We have become exactly what that slave owning 3rd Prez. had feared we would over those core issues. Then I always throw in my passion of Cooperatives mode;ed after Mondragon of the Basque, which are popping up around the States on local levels.

Let these politicians scramble to find a band wagon to ride. They will fail from their own ambition..we will not find a better option. hey, i hope you're right. but not every tiny acorn grows into a great oak. only tiny acorns with the right soil, water, sunlight, shade, inner health & strength (and in this case, strategy), and who aren't choked into oblivion by stronger acorns around them, grow into great oaks. most tiny acorns perish in the soil. not to be a pessimist or anything. just not sure if this movement will develop a practical & successful strategy. i'd like it to, but i don't know if it will.

The revolution has just begun. It will go into high gear next spring. On Jan. 16 Occupy the Dream (comprised of African Americans) will join OWS in a demonstration against the Federal Reserve. Having Occupy the Dream join OWS is good news. Together they will have a strong presence.

It is a great piece of work and Leonard Cohen makes it even greater! I wish that Van morrison and Bob Dylan would join together with Mr Cohen to create one that would make all people who want change, change, change and love again. We can do it if we all come together . Together we will change this world to one of peace and caring, the way it is written!
