I never noticed (or cared, really) how much of a height discrepancy there was between Peter Jennings and Ted Koppel. Jennings was 6'2" or 6'3" (and I read once that David Brinkley, the man on Jennings' right, was 6'4" in his prime). Barbara Walters is listed at 5'4". I'd give Koppel no more than 5'7" based on that shot.

Rather and Brokaw are both about 5'11", I believe. Couric is 5'2"; Sawyer is 5'9" (tall for a woman). I'm not sure about Brian Williams.

President Obama is 6'1".

@RichieEastside On ABC's Good Morning America, 5'6" George Stephanopoulos has to sit in a high chair next to 5'10" Robin Roberts.

She wears monster heels, too. She looks like a towering Amazon next to him.

I sometimes wonder if Obama wears lifts. His White House physical indicates that he is 6'1", but he looks taller. On the news, he's almost always the tallest person in every shot.

Then again, a lot of people in Washington are on the shorter side. John Boehner is no more than 5'8", if that.
