The song is just a some piece written for this trailer...i assume it was Jack Wall. I've also read it could of been Jarrett Lee, (he works at bioware)

A lot of people think this is "The Day The World Went Away" By Nine Inch Nails, but it's not.

It is the same basic chords though, in the same order. and because it's distorted guitar (along with little harmonics behind that) it sounds similar. But so does "Werewolves in London" and "Sweet Home Alabama"...but they aren't the same song either...

I can't believe people are still denying this. It was remixed by Jarrett Lee (said so in an interview) and its based off of Day the World Went Away. The entire first half of it is string by string, chord by chord the same. It's only the second piece he changes up.

hope they fix the sidequests in this game. The first game's sidequests were very dull and boring because of the repetitive structures of the locations. I also hated the big mountains on planets....it makes going to sidequests very annoying. Why can't they drop in a small airship instead of the mako?

I think the data from Mass Effect on your hard drive with carry onto Mass Effect 2. If you haven't played the first Mass Effect, then I have no idea. My guess would be that it will develop through a conversation... like who's with you and who isn't.

When you finish Mass Effect 1, the game creates a special file which can be imported into ME2. The file contains information on all the choices you made in the first game.

If you haven't played ME1, then the game queries you through conversation to find out what you chose.

Well Shepard can die at the end of Mass Effect 2, though you can avoid it...which according to a Bioware dev you really do want to avoid if you want to keep playing "your" Shepard and use him/her in Mass Effect 3, instead of a default Shepard. Though there a bunch of endings, a bloodbath one where all the crew and Shepard dies, and everything in between, maybe someone lives. Though you won't go into the end of the game not knowing if you survive, you'll know.

All mediums have their positives and negatives, seeing a Mass Effect or KOTOR film would be assume and it wouldn't be a slap in the face to BioWare. I think a well written out script of KOTOR as a three part trilogy and with a director like Peter Jackson/ Christopher Nolan would top Mass Effect. I just think Starwars is the perfect sci-fi galaxy. It's not are fault we have never had a good writer and director make a Starwars movie. Although Starwars Empire Strikes Back is in the top 3 of greatest sci-fi with Blade Runner and 2001. This is the longest time Bioware has been committed to a sci-fi story. With KOTOR (Knights of the old republic) they frigin outsourced the sequels to Obsidian. I'm glad they're giving Mass Effect as much personal care as it needs.

I'm quite financially sound actually. But i did grow up in a very poor background so i know how hard it can be. Kids from backgrounds like that should be able to enjoy great games also. MMO's by defonition segregate rich from poor. And thats just one of thier many many Massive flaws. Games like World of Warcraft work because they were designed as MMO'S. But to take a fantastic console franchise and ruin it with an MM'O sequal (like KOTOR) is absolutely Criminal in my humble opinion.

They don't segregate rich from poor; they segregate pirates from people who respect IP and the devs. It's nearly impossible to release a single-player PC game these days without having ~90% of the users running pirated software. MMOs are one of the few games where it is still difficult to play with an illegal copy. In any case, SW:TOR has already sucked in Mythic to help complete it, and they've already got hundreds of hours of story to play through. I'd cut them some slack.

A Massive Multiplayer Online. Like World of warcraft and the ill fated (and increadably shit) Final Fantasy 11. A lot of people love them for the experience of playing with thousands of others on an online community. However to play these games you usually need a High spec PC (very costly) and once you buy an MMO you usually need to pay a Monthly subscription fee. MMO's are ok if they are orignal MMO's but when Developers take much loved Titles and make its sequal an MMO it really Pisses me off.

EA only make good sports games (tiger woods, FIFA etc) so when i heard they were moving in on ME2 i was rather pissed off. Any big RPG title that EA have been involved in have been awfull. EA are all about the green and not about the heart. Mass Effect 1 has to be in in my top 5 all time Games. So if EA fuck ME2 up i will make it my personal mission in life to fly to America. Visit the HQ of EA with a high powerd Assault rifle and systemayicaly begin to pump rounds into those mother fuckers.

I agree that the old republic will suck... but i don't know for mass effect. You know what is good game? game where you fill that you are strong and powerfull, not where you are 123 killed by enemy. there is no mmo where you could have alot of fun, but i realy love to play with friends, it is more realistic. If you ask me, LAN is better then multiplayer or singleplayer. you are stronger then computer and you are with your friend. this is great combination though...
