i can understand were at maybe a first or distant listen to interpol, and paying small attention to their music, how a joy division influence or similarities is heard but as far as LISTENING to them, if i am personally in the mood, whatever mood that may be, were i want to be satisfied by the driving emotions heard by JD, i would never find myself moving on to listen to INTERPOL straight afterward as they provide a completely different musical satisfaction and taste for the listeners. IMO . :)
