Wiesz nie znoszę tej mafii, ale sam fakt, że taka III liga skakała ok 150 metrów, to profesjonaliści typu Małysz czy Ammann to by się naprawdę połamali. Prędkości potrafią być z wyższych rozbiegów takiej np. skoczni rzędu 100 km na godzinę i więcej. A 100 km na skoczni K125 czy 130 to naprawdę samobójstwo.
Oczywiście, w odniesieniu do najlepszych na świecie nie miałbym na myśli takich prędkości. Wiadomo, że w ich przypadku musiałyby być odpowiednio mniejsze, lecz z kolei na tyle wysokie, by można było skakać tak, jak na tym filmie:)) Pozdro:))

i hope everyone comes again this year. the pine mountain ski jumps is hurting right now and may not happen. my dad is one of the high ups in the ski club and hes saying that there is a good chance that the ski jumps might not happen and if they dont happen this year theyll never happen again.
It was a great competition. I wish we had such during World Cup but this fuckin' bastard Hofer will never let us have such spectacular performances. First of all, BMI ought to be abolished and secondly, the famous suits of Austrian athletes (with low crotch) ought to be reintroduced.
Yes, Hofer is bad, bad, isn't he:D:P??? The fact is that he is overcautious about the issue of security and even the ski jumpers (except for this idiot Schlieirenzauer) and some coaches admit so. So, you're right in guessing although his overcautiousness is groundless to me coz as you and all can see, no one fell in this longest standing competition (and we have much more experienced guys in World Cup, so?)
@kaols72 The reason I think it's stupid is that it creates an incentive for hill builders to bend the shape of the hill to fit the rule; ie. make the landing zone as big as possible with a sharp turn and no margin at the bottom. I would like all ski flying hills to have a long transition as safe zone, not intended for landing, but where you're not hurt badly if you go too far.
Just look at the 2005 Planica competition. Fortunately Ahonen is a tough jumper. Schlirenzauer on the other hand.....
Everybody apart Thurnbichler had gate 22. He moved down too 21... Nope we didn't got that jump on tape, but we got Muller's jump 142,5 m on tape. That was insane high, thought he was going too die :P
