Hi, I have had Serif Movieplus since January of this year. And because I cant find any help decent help sites anywhere, I have had to look on youtube. Unfortunately there is nothing that can solve my problem. I may be buying a green screen for my films, but because green screens are quite a bit of money, I dont really want to be buying it and finding I cant use it. So, can I use a green screen with this serif movieplus?
@MrPoodoo777 Hi, You will need to use an effect called "Chroma Key" which removes the green background. I've not used it in MoviePlus, but it does have this feature. It might take some practice to get the best results, keeping the lighting consistent will be the biggest challenge. Good luck!
@MrPoodoo777 this may be to late but yesyou can do this on movie plus and it os very easy, if you would like me to upload a video on how to do this i will be more than happy to do so...
@KrystalKimi - yes, if you select a clip on the timeline, then view the 'Properties' pane, there is a 'Play Speed' setting which allows you to speed up or slow down the clip.

ive just started using this program..... is there a way to edit the volume of the video your using, if u wanted to use sound effects or vocals from the pictures?
Hi, Yes, you can adjust the overall volume by selecting a clip, and opening the Properties Pane then selecting the Audio section.
If you want to vary the volume at different points, you can control the volume using keyframes. If you look at page 96 of the manual, there is an explanation of how to apply keyframes.
thanks for your help, think im finding it easier to extract the audio using soundforge and selecting the parts i like to use, have made a couple of trailers using this program, finding it quite nice
OMG i was trying to get a motion blur effect at the beginning of my video with MoviePlus 5, but had to use VirtualDub instead! Probably have to finish it with MoviePlus X3 now.
Yes, it has a colorize filter and old film fx. Not as sophisticated as something like Magic Bullet 'Movie Looks' but you can achieve similar effects if you apply the effects subtly.
No, there's loads more different text animation presets, and most settings can be customised. I only put together a very short demo in response to some requests on the Serif forum.
how do u get download videos to put in the movieplus x3..where do u download it from

Hey,
Serif don't offer trial versions, but they do offer a 30 day money back guarantee, so if you don't get on with it you can return it for a refund.
