I don't remember that commercial either.

It probably had to have been from 1990 because Ghost Busters came out sometime in 1990, well AFTER the Genesis launched in September 1989.

you're right. what's even more interesting is that when the first Promotional posters came in, they had beta shots of Ghostbusters which was titled Ghostbusters II (even though the game canonically belongs between GB and GB2)
