Yep 30 years! Anything worth removing was taken out right after the park closed, but some things were left behind. And over 30 years people have taken just a lot of other things that can be moved, roller coaster cars, ticket booths, and other things.
The land is being redeveloped now, with the hope to build a Hilton hotel, a culinary institute, a Japanese spa, among other things!

DANG that is so cool!! I love urban exploration!! So sad to hear that this place will be torn down :( I love old abandoned places.

Yeah, urban exploration is really fun! It does stink that they plan on tearing this down though.

WOW! the park closed 30 years ago and still the owner has never removed any of the rides, they let it sit and get all rusted? how sad
