@sufislayer Well, just as there is no proof there is a 'higher being', there is no proof denying it either. As far as apostasy is concerned, 'there is no compulsion in religion.' One may add their opinions to serve their interests. It's one issue that one 'becomes' a Muslim and later leaves it. What about people who were born into Islam without given a choice and later rejected it? Is that still apostasy?

If one is baptized as a christian, is that person necessarily an apostate with regards to Islam? If he converts to Islam from Christianity, or Judeism, is he not an Apostate? After all, all these religions have the same god.

God created us as beings who are constantly seeking Him, in one way or another. How can any of those who seek Him be condemned?

God, Allah, Jehovah never condemned us, it is only WE who condemn God, and cast ourselves into whatever pit we consider our own hell.

Salam! Strange interpretations regarding apostacy! Is religion really a state, in modern world? who is the president of this state, then to decide the matter? He says you can leave the state. Will you allow the opsotate to leave the state and would you help him to get the visa? If the punishment is basically for treason, how could you prove that the apostate really treasoned againts the government? I wonder he did not give any Quranic reference to prove his points!
