Actually, I think they used the other Angels just because Lucifer doesn't exactly, agree with their ways I think. Like in the first movie, as he said: "We don't need another Hell". Plus I don't really think of Gabriel as a Villain, just a confused, young (I know I know), Angel...

Gabriel in some traditions IS one of the Angels of Death. I don't see the problem. Are you suggesting that the Angel of Death isn't God's Angel?

Im not saying God doesn't have an angel of death which we know he does...but Gabriel is a high ranked archangel and to call him the angel of death is wrong...because in the book of Matthew he is called the angel of the Lord. Second Angels do not fall....only the nephilim fall...second angels are called messengers thats all they are. And they dont kill firstborns while "they're mamas watch" and enjoy it...read up on angels because i think you need some help on it...sodom was destroyed by God.

Uh, Gabriel, Michael, Samael, Uriel, Azrael, etc. were all considered angels of death depending on the religion. So an angel of death isn't the angel of the lord? that makes no sense. Angels do fall. The Devil was not a nephil, he was cherubim. The Malakhim are messengers, there are other functions in other ranks. Know your lore, it is said that the Destroying Angel killed the firstborns. Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed by God through His angels .
