Death metal singers usually use much lower death growls and for example me or my friend (search "nikdoart - The Pearlverses" on YT) like to experiment and change the pitch really often.

@Korzahn Nah man as in working on the translation. It was some fuckin tough shit to translate, since these lyrics are in ancient Norse language, more than in present day Norwegian. They sing kinda how the vikings spoke, so its old and difficult to translate.

@Korzahn Well its in my translation, in this case it directs to "the coming nightfall and day". Since this is ancient norse language, its hard to translate directly to english.

In the case of these lyrics(their context) it basically means to long for something, from nightfall until the sun rises.
