  • thx 4 sharing!!

  • Great video, wow I always loved her distinct sound. In this video you see it just coming out of her with ease, nothing forced, or phony. That great Stevie Nicks sound, incredible.

  • Beautiful. I have seen this video now for so many times, but still can't write a suitable comment. Hope beautiful tells what I mean.

  • @hardertoreach I agree

  • @EnchantednSC Me neither !!

  • Comment removed

  • @hardertoreach the gays love stevie. its the whore in the corner.

  • @hardertoreach Are you stupid? If there are guys listening to stevie nicks or many other women (cher, madonna, dolly etc...) they are most likely gay and love them.

  • @hardertoreach so why single out gay folks because someone disliked this Stevie video? I love Stevie, since the 80s and am also gay. She has a ton of gay fans out there, fyi. WTF. You sound ignorant.

  • @hardertoreach Hey!!! I'm a gay guy and I absolutely LOVE Stevie!!!

  • @kphoe2 I'm a straight female & I love her too!

  • @MissJensk1 me too..

  • "What I seem to touch these days has turned to gold." That explains why gold has been selling at a all time high.

  • @a70skid economics fail, lol

  • CONMADRES

  • I love watching a singer in the studio, recording. The persona they assume for the stage/public is gone, and it's just an artist working at their craft, warts and all.

  • One person has faded glitter for brains. ^_^

  • This is an anthem song for me. At the end of every semester in college, I made sure to play this song as a finale and tribute to the work just completed. Stevie's song reminded me that the struggle was always worth the challenge and even though I had reached a finish line, the experiences and benefits would stay with me for a lifetime. A great song for a great time in life.

  • It amazes me how effortless she sounds on this. Every note in perfect key, her voice getting soft in all the right places. Just WOW.

  • Wow! I never knew about this video! Now find the German video for "After the Glitter Fades"!

  • Amazing....Picture perfect, Flawless and Beautiful..The Song, The Writing, the Singer...Thank you Stevie!

  • I will go to my grave lovin her

  • She is just so beautiful and wonderful. We love you, Stevie!

  • amazing.... ty for this :) I love this song.

  • who is playing the steele?

  • @stangrub1 I would guess sneaky Pete Kleinow,,,but I could be wrong. It sounds like his style......He also played with The Fling Burrito bros., The Byrds and Jackson Browne .

  • @stangrub1 Sneaky Pete Kleinow.........It sounds like him anyway.

  • Angel of my dreams. Love you Stevie!

  • Her glitter faded? When?

  • this video shows how connected to her music she really is, i would LOOVE to see more like this. i like when she turns away from the camera/mic/everyone around 2:30...makes me wonder if someone is making her laugh, if she's having a personal moment or whatttttttt who knows

  • I love her!! Best singer ever!!!!!

  • if you listen carefully, you will note that this ISN'T the track that made it to the record..... a few tiny vocal differences. Girl sure can sing.

  • Oh the smile 0:27 i just love it.

  • The first time I heard this song was a cover by Glen Campbell many years ago. It was actually pretty good. But then I heard Stevie's version and it made Glen's version sound sort of cheesy. There are just some songs that should not be attempted to cover, like Linda Ronstadt singing "Long, Long Time". This is one of them.

  • Love is only one fine star away...truly a classic by a phenomenal person. Love it!

  • Stevie is the greatest!! thanks for videos like this .i´m german and its not easy to say in englisch what Stevie and her music means to me....only love

  • who's the ONE douchebag who didn't like this??? Are you kidding?? lol This is amazing, I wish there were hours of film like this....so cool.

  • look at her at work! so natural, casual, she just does it Sprezzatura!

  • Did you ever see someone lay down a flawless track, take time to smile and laugh between verses and do it as effortlessly as she does............well done stevie!!!!

  • Waiting to see Stevie perform on the annual Country Music Awards show...I would definitely watch that one.

  • THANKS CUZ

  • THANKS CUZ <3<3

  • THANKS CUZ<3<3

  • my favorite song on Belladonna and I still have my album :P

  • Simply amazing, i love and her music.

  • totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! her best song!!!!

  • My favorite Stevie Nicks song!

  • Thanks for posting! Beautiful ...

  • I love this song so much! It's one of my all time favorites!

  • this song charted in country believe it or not #70 in 1982!! great song

  • Stevie was so beautiful back then and this song was one of the best off of the Bella Donna Album.

  • AMAZING! She made it look so effortless.

  • Such an incredible voice and person...Stevie Nicks...nice in studio performance...

  • A beautiful song and deeply melancholy. Stevie looks beautiful and sounds even better.

  • excellent

  • I want to see more of her in the studio! I know there is more footage out there.

  • Stevie...always beautiful...a voice totally unique in rock 'n roll. She sings like an angel and has the sexual charm that just radiates off her every time we see her. There's some obvious fooling around going on in this video...wonder who it was that had Stevie doing her best to hold off the laughter?Ahhh...Stevie you're beautiful in so many ways.I'm head over heels in love with you.

  • is this the cut that made it onto the Bella Donna album? it sounds similar but somewhat different in the ways she sings certain parts. and where on earth did this tape some from????!

  • queen still of rock and roll, a voice that gives chills, her name gives chills

  • love it, I need a karaoke version

  • I love this song so much, I wish I could find a karaoke version of it for practice.....great job

  • awesome!!! And to all those that say she can't sing, you need your ears checked!

    She is amazing.

  • She is just too cool !

  • even though the livin is sometimes laced with lies it's alright,,, the feelin remains even after the glitter fades

  • Just brilliant. Thank you Stevie. Lots of love from us Aussies!!

  • i love you Stevie Nicks!,

    i love your looks,

i love your words and i love your music,

    you are an icon

i'll go on and i will still love everything about you forever and ever unti lthe day i die ^_^ <3<3

  • me too

  • @thomasbaron06 Are there any videos of The Highwayman" that Stevie did?

  • @judiannmac ... i have no idea o.0

    ??

  • @thomasbaron06 Stevie Nicks helped make me a rock star! I always stayed excited about rock and roll because of her and the mac. I love my career in Native American music, and always am grateful to them. Thank you Stevie!

  • This is totally live, and Stevie knocks the song out of the friggin park -- in one take. If we were to see recording footage of Britney or Rihanna or any of today's female pop singers, I highly doubt it would be this solid.

  • LOVE IT!

  • Some how everytime I listen to this song it reminds me that I wouldn't have made it this far in my life dispite all the times I wanted to give up and just forget about following my dreams there are so many wonderful people in my life i that I have to thank for helping me get this far and are continuing to help me thank you SO much

  • Amen to that.

  • AMEN :)

  • @Rhiannonlynn1970

u go girl....I hear you loud and clear. obtw, STEVIE IS A GODDESS.....right up there w/ Cher and Tina. amen, amen.

  • get out of town!

have you ever seen a more beautiful woman? I haven't .

  • When I grow up, I want to be Stevie Nicks!! She is so awesome! ;-P

  • Ignore the solo bit. The rest is solid.

  • Oh I love this song! Infact I love most all of the music of this talented and beautiful song writer. If you play the guitar the following would be the progressive chords. Like most country songs has only several simple chords to learn.

    Intro/ending=D,E,A,D,D,E,A,D,A

    Verse=A,D,E,A,D,E,A, D,E,D,E,A,Asus4,

    Chorus=D,E,A,D,E,D,A,D,A,E,D,D, AMaj7,A,Asus4,A

    Soloey bit=E,D,E,D,E,A,A7,

    Hope this helps.

  • amazing... truly amazing. I Belladonna on vinyl and this song is, in my opinion, one of the best songs on it!

  • I agree.

  • This is absolutely my favorite Stevie Nicks song! I bought the damn CD just for this song!

  • Oh Stevie, amazing! Rock on Gypsy Queen....

  • When was this filmed, what year,

  • Well it was written either in 1973 or 1975 but not released until 1981 on Bella Donna. Looking at Stevie here it is most likely a year or two prior to it's release. My best guess would be maybe 1979.

  • "Bella Donna" was recorded during 1980/1, as "Tusk" was released in 1979 and Fleetwood Mac went on tour for 18 months to support it.

  • she so cute.

  • I agree,she is doll!!!!!

  • Absolutely beautiful, she sounds so vulnerable, flawless, and endearing. Thank you god for giving us one of your angels to enjoy! Stevie Rocks

  • One of my all time favorite Stevie solos. Just beautiful, and even more so watching her sing it in the studio. Stunning, thank you for sharing!

  • A gorgeous gal with a raw, all-American way with a song. A true original.

  • How absolutely sweet....such sincerity.

  • It's so true.

  • Just occured to me that this song wouldn't sound out of place on a country music station.

  • Some country stations DID play it - the smart ones. The Dixie Chicks, BIG Stevie fans, should have covered it.

  • Unbelievable.........this tiny beautiful woman and out comes the most amazing voice in all of rock history ever.......her talent comes from how effortless that powerhouse voice flows out of her, and she writes all her own music, too........can't compare to the twits out there now trying to make a living in the music biz

  • OMG....I whole-heartedly agree. Rock ON! She's amazing and I get to go see her for the very 1st time tomorrow night. I will probably cry the whole night....but I wouldn't be the 1st one, right?

  • Have a great time at the show. I am jealous but happy for you! I was hoping they would make another appearance here in detroit where i live, but alas it was not meant to be. I was first row here and I can't even begin to tell you how magical that night was!! It will never be forgotten!

  • Well said.

  • Happy Birthday Stevie!!

  • She's classic.

  • Man O Man what can ya say Just WOW.....

    One hell of a voice

  • what a song and a great performance

  • " Absolutley Stunning "

  • thank you!

  • anybody know what year this recording is from?

  • 1979/1980

  • Yes I beleive it's the year 1981. I was six years old when this album came which was Bella Donna. I loved edge of seventeen so much I would get on a table and do it. I was six years old then.

  • buddyboy55 i agree with you fully. i heard landslide on the radio like 2 and a half years ago, gotta fleetwood mac piano book, focus mainly on her song, and i fell in love. i watch every video of her on this website. none of them bore me, even the ones where shes doing her hair for 10 mins. she is timeless as is her music. im 14 and i dont care what anybody at school thinks, I LOVE STEVIE NICKS!!

  • She's an easy woman to love...

  • Dedicated this song and the immortal words "The feeling remains even after the glitter fades" to a relationship that went sour in the 80s. Today, that lady and I are still the best of friends, thanks to this song. Thanks for posting this sad but positive breakup song ...

  • great! for the real stevie fans this is fun and interesting to watch her work.

  • She is veritably a perfect combination of beauty and talent, indeed the most overwhelmingly desirable woman I've ever seen.

  • *feminine beauty and supernal talent... there aren't enough superlatives to describe her magnificence. Ahem.

  • i love her so much, shes so gorgeous and cute too, her music is amazing and she looks so into it when in concert, but she looks kinda bored here...?
