Bullshit!!! The shortage is a myth. The ONLY reason they want the work visa quota raised is foreign health care workers ARE CHEAP. Much cheaper than their American counterparts. The numbers are purposely kept low because they want to create a shortage. I know people that have been laid off recently from county hospitals that can't find work. The person in this interview is a lobbiest nothing more. Notice how the emphasis was on foreign workers and not training new nurses.
