Well damn, I don't remember that from my LP but hey, I'm not going to doubt you. Somebody made a boo boo somewhere. It's ok, it's a killer song anyway and good quality. Thanks for uploading it :)
This is the 12" version, George. Maybe there is a fade ending on the LP? I'll check, I have that one too. What was it you expected at the end that wasn't there?
Well, it's been 20 years or so since I listened to my LP so I'm obviously not sure. I just don't think it sounds right when it cuts off like that but hey, I could obvoiusly be wrong. It just disturbs my sense of music and what's right I guess :)
Check your messages, I just sent you something :)
...and by the way, now that you mention Leon Huff, People's Choice "We got the rhythm" is my SECOND favorite album (right after the Music Band II, not the live album by WAR). Those are two of the albums that I had where EVERY song kicked ass. For someone as picky as me, that was a big deal.
Damn, I miss the good ol' days and my big AR's. I remember once I got tired of the Salvation Army waking me up so I opened the windows, cranked my stereo up and made them leave... Ah, good ol' days :)
Beautiful, I'd done the same, Salvation Army is not Uncle Funk's Army when it comes to music. :) lol!
I love People's Choice too, matter of fact I just bought the two CDs that seem to be available these days, shame that there isn't more!
War were great too, but sadly their stuff belongs to a record label that doesn't let people upload their music on YouTube. Otherwise, I'd upload something from them.
Please, if you will, check further down, George. There is no discrepancy between vinyl and YouTube video. Of course I'll upload the other song if it's good. ;)
Hello George! I wasn't aware that I'd cut seconds off, if so it's a mistake. Since you noticed, you're obviously a big fan. :) I'll see what I can do.
OK, George, my quality-control guy, ;), I have now checked. There is nothing missing on the YouTube upload compared to the 45 RPM 12" I have. It has a very sharp, radio-friendly end (not a fade, but a sharp end), so I am 100% sure. So there was probably just something wrong with YouTube when you had seconds cut off. Try again, it works fine for me, nothing missing and the same length on both video and vinyl too.
I found this LP in my mother's old collection.

This is the 12". Perhaps what you heard (and expected here) was the album version. Simple as that! ;)

Sorry, didn't see the bit about the 12", mine was the LP so maybe there IS a difference :)
When I scared the salvation army off it was with the Overture to Willem Tell :)
Hey, have you heard "Peter Lundblad - Ge apan i dig en chans" and " Nationalteatern - Jack The Ripper"
They're on here if you haven't.

Love it but is there a chance to get the same quality recording but without cutting the last few seconds off at the end. Pretty please?
