I stumbled onto this by accident. I had a BUNCH of Basia CD's but they got misplaced in the course of moving twice. Is she still doing anything ?

She went solo after Matt Bianco, that's how I'm familiar with her. Enlighten me. please.

Basia released her first full solo album since 1994's Sweetest Illusion, still my favorite. The CD "It's That Girl Again" came out a few months ago and is available most everywhere now. If you like Basia you'll love it - it's great! I got it the day it came out here in the US.

Sorry, WIKI is wrong. Her birthday is Sept. 30, 1959. Always has been.

Believe what you like. She WAS born in 1954. She looks damn fine on it but that is her birth year. Some sources say 1959 but they are inaccurate.

Anyway, what do you think of her albums?

Sorry, WIKI has her born in 1954, She still looks GREAT at 53. I'd marry her in a NY second...Her new husband is a very Blessed man. My "Best" to her and Kevin Robinson.

I've just checked four different web sites in addition to WIKI that all give her birth date as 9/30/59. Why are you so certain it is otherwise? Short of asking Basia herself, I think I'll go with the info I've found. Anyway, I LOVE Basia and her music, ever since I stumbled upon her "Time & Tide" video in '87 or '88. I'm a big fan of Bossa Nova, so anything she sings in that style is magical to me. And she's a great lyricist, considering English is her 2nd language.

Mark Reilly is now working on solo album and Basia/Danny White will release album and tour in 2008.

Mark Reilly (the one on the right) still uses the name but with a different line up. Basia and Danny are working on a new album as "Basia". It is due probably early 2008. Buy it when it arrives!

I was fortunate enough to see these guys in New York at The Beacon in 2005. What a great show and the audience was so fun and classy. A great experience. Makes living in New York very special.

man,...if you only knew how i first heard of you guys!my father-in law is a garbage man in alaska, and found your tape in the garbage in 1987, and LOVED it. his singing to it was so gripping- i finally accepted it. the only problem i had was after years later, i could not find the songs anywhere! wanted to here 'sneaking out the back door' soo bad.
