I'm a huge fan of wild arms and the whole series...1 and 2 are by far the best though... p.s come look at my page for cool hip hop music recorded my be, witta twist of anime in 'em....
@FalkorrOfNSider2 Yeah, same here. It reminds me of Dark Cloud and I get the kick when i hear it, yet i have never heard of this game before. I think this calls for some Emulator justice and check this out.
This... this reminds me of Dark Cloud music. So very, very much. I'm getting a nostalgia kick from something i've never heard before, how is this possible?
wild arms is the 5th grade music that i could imagine and dream about my fantasies too. as dorky as that sounds i was just a kid wanting to be happy.... ahh be good friends :)
I remember this game as the game I bought to tide me over until Final Fantasy VII was released. The game was good, but the soundtrack was completely amazing!
This is amazing, I've never played Wild Arms, actually I did but it was like 10 years ago. The soundtrack is totally great so it will be my lead to playing the game :D
VGMs....Who ever you are, you have excellent taste in video game music! I feel like we're totally on the same page of what makes good and memorable video game music. I think I'll be referring to you for suggestions for video game piano arrangements. :)
I have been going through @SupraDarky lists of game music and only played a couple of them like Chrono Cross, Zelda, and Yoshi's Island. Some of the Final Fantasies. But ever time I come across a game I never heard of, I read the comments. Now, I am really starting to think maybe I should buy some of these games just to experience the thrills.
This music was the best when I first played it at my Uncle's house as a kid visiting familys and friends. Now, few years... I have thought of trying to get the original Wild Arms playstation game since I really haven't beat it. Lol
This song touch my heart as I close my eyes visauling of flying around the world in peace. (Left hand thumb up.)
love port town theme <3 i have a question....do you have the music which can be heard when your on the "press the button to start" screen after the intro of the game? ._. its not on the OST ;_;
I have Wild Wrms 1 on PSN and Wild Arms 3 for PS2 I have overlooked this series for a while and I decided to give it a chance and see what its about I feel bad I didnt get into it sooner I had always heared about just didnt buy it. As a man who likes RPGS I should be ashamed T-T
If anyone here likes the music and has a psp or ps3 buy the game for only $5.99 off of playstation network, you won't regret it. XD (Also hacking your psp will cause it to break, I had experience with this before T_T so I reccomend buying it).
Ha! Port Town! They should have called Port Town in F-Zero "New Port Town"! LOL Wild Arms is such an overlooked game. I wish more people would appreciate it....
I have so many memories of Wild Arms... both good and bad. A good memory was that it was the game that got me into RPGs when I was but a budding gamer at the tender age of 12... and a bad memory was the %*&#@!$ De La Metallica dungeon. I was stuck in that place for YEARS before GameFAQs came along =.=
@chapacoka I know right! Seriously! Even today I still can't figure out the puzzle on my own, and I've beaten the game like 5 times ~_~ I wonder if Altercode: F still has that puzzle?
@gaminggoddess85 It does unfortunately though I'm too lazy to check if its exactly the same...the one in Altercode: F is just as annoying especially if you do this one part wrong. Best advice: Multiple saves and save often. Devoted an entire memory card to that one dungeon.
God I haven't played this shit in like, like, 9, 10 years? Well I have no time now to play, I'm a busy adult. Man I miss getting all stoned and full of pizza and playing this.. And I think that one windy sandy hill is based on the town I live in now.
@nastynate3163 You were able to hum along to the whole song after not hearing it for 11 years because, back in the era when Wild Arms came out, composers still crafted music that was so good, it would stick with you for the rest of your life. I am sad to say that these days, music like this is rarely created.....
Seriously...thank you for posting. This was the most haunting melody of the game, so much so that I'm still humming it some 15 years later. Thanks again.
@2Cents Me too 2Cents! I first heard this song in the late summer of '97, and still hum it to this day! Music that is so good that it will have you still humming it 15 years later is exceedingly rare these days..... It makes me sad....

If someone had convinced me the same of Wild ARMs, I firmly believe I would have missed out on an irreplaceable part of my childhood.
@TifaLuva I know exactly what you mean. I have posted on other video game soundtrack video pages on YouTube what I am about to say now: When a song in a game is so good that it causes you to stop just to enjoy the music, and makes you return to the part of the game where the music plays just so you can listen to that song again, you just know that music is something special. I miss the days when such music could be found in many games.... They truly do not make game music like they used to.
hauhauhau XD sorry me, it was me who didn't read well XD i feel idiotic now XD well Its not like if I killed someone, so there's no problem, just lets not tell anyone 'bout this (?)

But once you move past that you have a solid story with a balanced battle system.
This game is highly underrated. This was the second rpg I owned before the great FF7. I think what happened was FF7 over shined wildarms because they both came out one after the other, wildarms was first then ff7. But I beat wildarms several times still one of my favorite rpgs along with ff7.

I love theses songs from the old good games. Actually, i used the most of Wild Arms songs on my RPG Maker XP game. It fits perfectly.

This sounds almost identical to 01. It's not bad, it's just... too similar.

Hmm this art reminds me of vision of escaflowne art.

Its weird, but they don't look like that at all. I'm guessing thats just some weird OST cover art... but yeah. Even in the opening they don't look like that.
