  • well done!!

  • whoever disliked this video is a fucking retard, and anyone talking smack about technique knows fuck all.

  • damn that bar looks like its right on her spine though fuck

  • Good Job girl!

  • Coolest thing any girl ever did in a gym.

  • Respect

  • The "bar" I would implement in her exercise-program is only 6 inches.

  • nice but grip the bar wider for overhead squats

  • Likey

  • After we make love she usually bench presses me:)

  • Respect.

  • She is a cutie ! You are leaning fowrard on the squat down.

  • 110 lbs? That was nothing!

  • @wolftickets1969 a girl u little wanka

  • that was hot

  • I'D "OVERHEAD SQUAT" HER!

  • lol you can tell its crossfit by the unbalance in this womans body. That jerk was shitty and should have been much easier, still very strong....but people don't be fooled by crossfit, you could just be a better athlete and O-LIFT LOL!!

  • Amazing. She makes it look so easy. Excellent form too

  • WHY ARE YOUR ARMS SO BIG

  • It's about flexibility and strength people.

Nice work by this young lady....and athlete.

  • I'm not surprised at her lack of overhead strength. Assuming 115lbs is about her weight, she should be able to BTN push press that weight with ease, much less have problems push jerking or jerking (cannot tell from the ugly thrust she did) bodyweight. Any weightlifter can BTN push their bodyweight like they are eating peanuts, I am not surprised this is a Crossfit enthusiast. As usual, all show no go with this crowd, the only thing they have is good looking women (the ones they show, of course).

  • @Rogelio22 What do you specialize in? I'm guessing Oly Lifting, am I right?

Did you catch any of the USAW/Crossfit event in Colorado a couple weeks ago?

  • So true... I can squat 1.5x my bodyweight. But I can't for the live of me do a proper overhead squat. Did some with only the bar last night with high reps, and today my shoulder feels like its gonna fall of any moment.

  • @PullTheTricker

Same boat as me - overheads are hard as hell! I squat 315 for reps but only the bar for overheads. Guess it takes practice.

  • i did elements at my local black box crossfit...did one wod after that...legs hurt for a week...good stuff...but then i ran outta money...id like to get back to it but im reading charles bronsons (the convict not the movie star)Solitary Fitness in the hope of saving some money.

  • 0:17 ohhhhh right baby

  • i'll spot her ;)

  • Very impressive. Peace. :)

  • Wow. Impressive on an incredibly difficult exercise. I just squatted 315 x 19 a few days ago and I would be lucky to overhead squat the weight you're using just once. Nice stability and flexibility. And sexy as hell!!!

  • Damn. I'm still practicing with a broom stick on overheads.

  • @pitbullgirl65 Try practicing with a 25 pound bar. A broomstick isn't heavy enough to help you roll your shoulders back into the position you'll need them in for maximum stability. Being that this comment is old, you're probably far beyond this point now. If not, give just a tad bit of weight a try. Anything from 20-35 pounds is perfect for learning the lift.

  • @LayEmOut60 bro im pretty sure it was a joke

  • @Omilax Well if so, then I look like an ass, which I accept. If not, then hopefully I helped her out. All I can do is try. :)

  • @LayEmOut60 Far beyond? BHAAA! I've been lazy with it tbh. I also need a spotter for the overheads. Thanks for replying!

  • I tried this for the first time yesterday and I only managed 2 reps and on the 3 it fell off my hands, some how it makes squatting hard and I can squat 125Kg on my back.

This girl is strong, I don't care what anybody says!

  • Worried about how much layback she's got on those wrists...that's gotta hurt.

Otherwise, nice job with a challenging exercise.

  • @altroval I used to wonder that myself, then I read "Explosive Lifiting for Sports" by Harvey Newton. Palms facing up is the correct form; great wrist flexibility is required.

  • That'd probably make me poo my pants :(

  • really good but ur hip slants a wee bit, ur knee comes in at the end which is a worry and ur technique is nice

  • becca can squat 105 pounds more than me :(

  • o baby i bet shes something in the sack

    woooo!!

  • jolie cul

  • This looks like a good, challenging exercise. What does it develop? It looks like it would hit everything.

  • You are awesome! Any tips about performing this lift?

  • Man, I would be too scared to do this with any sizable amount of weight.

  • no slammin' the weights

  • wow... I whish i had space in my gym to try that. I'm afraid I might kill somebody.

  • v impressiv

    well done

  • dang girl

  • these are hard

  • What is the point, exactly? How is 115 pounds going to put enough tension on the muscles of the lower body to accomplish anything?

  • Overhead squat has two main purposes:

    1) Midline/shoulder stabilization

    2) Training the bottom position of the snatch

She isn't trying to "put tension on the muscles of the lower body", try it with 115lbs and see how you do :)

  • @Sierra688 you get massive EMG in the mid-section/core which promotes strength there for performing olympic lifts and for sports training; you become more "wired" in the central nervous system. It also develops massive shoulder and shoulder blade strength and stability plus increase flexibility, which contributes to very strong posture and thus prehab. Define what is enough tension? Enough tension to accomplish what? Is it time under tension you are talking about or intensity of the tension?

  • thats an impressive lift, alone nevermind squatting in that position, any who criticize have probably never tried it.........so can the negativityy!!!!!

  • Word. It is a truely humbling exercise. I can squat in the low 300's but believe it or not, I am still working on doing as much as her. Balance, core strength and a whole bunch of different stabilizing muscles come into play. Quite difficult!

  • @bigislander72 i agree, i squat 405 but cant do much more than she is doing on this lift

  • JC5000

You have no idea wtf your talking about, that is a good set most football players have trouble with this lift. Get in the weight room punk

  • you're not supposed to - she even goes down more than required its over 90 degrease

  • hotness

  • That is so hot

  • Most impressive, College football player here, I can squat a ton, but when it comes to this lift, I suck monkey balls, again good job

  • I wonder how much she can bench press (Free Weight)? I'd like to know, she looks pretty strong considering my girlfriend can barely bench my 45 LB bar with no weights on it LOL.

  • Nice Job Becca

  • what iw ould do to that.

  • please explain.

  • she is lifing with her back,, she needs to keep it stright.. her lower disks are gonna be ruinndd! nice ass btw!!!! ;]

  • 1. no

    2. yes

  • Huh? Her back appears to be in full extension the entire rep, the bar is over her foot, hips are inline, what's the problem? Her torso is pretty vertical, this lift is fine.

  • @grambo22 Agreed, especially for a probable 2RM. Shape between hip and shoulder doesn't change throughout leg drive, she doesn't bum shove.

  • Lordotic curve of her lumbar spine? Check

Minimizing rounding of the hips at the bottom? Check

Not following through when rouding starts? Check.

    Lockout overhead? Check

For me that looks fine... one could argue about depth, not about technique though.

    Good lifts.

  • @johnnysonn No she isn't. If you look at the angle between her hips and shoulders as she drives her legs, it stays the same, her bum doesn't shove up at first and then shoulders. The neutral spine shape does not change at all. What might appear to give that illusion is a slight flex at the hips, but shape fromhip to shoulder does not change. Global and local core muscles working with rest of kinetic chain to produce a damn good lift.

  • she must have a nice ass

  • So damn sexy!

  • good backextension

  • very strong girl

  • I will never be a scapegoat I will die before that happens, because the only other ability will be to rise as champion, you just don't know who your talking to.

  • And just to add to your disbelief my experience and my hesitance to accept your off beat compliment that will surely change themselves as quickly as a bad politicians tone of voice,

I am training for the mma, I have been working out since I am 14, those things in america and the world should always have some at least little value to others, my advice was raped and my self defense was twisted against me, honor intact.

On a side note were we arguing english class or do you have adhd?

  • wow thats funny you know i believe when a pseudo intellectual ever loses an argument he breaks down the grammar and punctuation EMAGINE THAT LOL you can only assume so much moron, you don't know too much about me and since you believe your famous I won't even talk with you because Im sure everything I do is some sarcastically great to you, I love how negative people try to help but they just never get it right, its not about right or wrong, I don't need to choose a side, i make it personal.

  • How is that shitty form, care to explain?

  • He can't - he's busy masturbating over some internet porn

  • more like to the video he claims is shitty form

  • Have u evr read da safety card on an aircraft, when dey talk abt da brace position. U no, liek folding ur arms over your knees and stuff. Dats da best way to take a crap. Good form, good technique.

  • She's a beauty.

  • Crybaby

  • You came in here. You didn't have to watch this video. You didn't have to comment. If you don't tolerate hostility, don't make comments that are obviously unwelcome.

  • im going to give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume that you only seem to not know what the fuck youre talking about because your command of the english language is obviously so incredibly poor.

  • That is really awesome! Watch my videos and see Im kind of strong But I don't think I could do this. Great Job.

    Good strength great balance.

    I'm impressed!

  • Now that one strong women!!

  • that was real nice form.

  • No one cares alchype. The lady didn't post the video to impress you. Why don't you go train instead being a keyboard warrior?

  • Man I bet that just under her buddy weight. I'd like to see you do the same % of weight for 2 full reps

  • im jealous!!!!! you go girl!

  • what was the point of this video?? because i was staring at your ass the whole time

  • beautiful job! Keep that dude from crossing in front the camera next time!

  • its a good lift because it forces you to keep your back straight and to not lean forward as many ppl do with a regular squat also it strengthens your upper body and core as well as your legs.

  • your legs should be alot stronger then your shoulder this exercise is strange on the compound nature of events.

  • shoulder is merely a static hold as when you get it up there it involves momentum and other muscles assisting

  • Why don't you quit being an armchair trainer and try them out?

  • I don't think you get the point of an overhead squat though. People who overhead squat still back squat. The overhead squat is the catch position of the snatch. It's used as an assistance exercise in olympic lifting. For those that don't train in olympic lifts, it's used as a conditioning exercise to train stability. Plus, it's a just a cool exercise and extremely challenging. The point isn't to maximize strength or size in the legs here.

  • @elegantmoose I love doing snatches, they're a great exercise to help build overall strength and develop explosiveness, but you're right you won't necessarily get any bigger doing these, but you will get stronger.

  • @elegantmoose Yes, and also - apparently - a good exersize for building the traps too.

  • Phhh... my grandma could do more than this chick.. WEAK!

I Kid.. rock on with your bad self!

  • lol at the camera moving around so much

  • damn, im in football and i can only do like 65. impressive

  • The narrow grip just means she is really flexible. Narrow grip is more difficult.

  • grip looks a little narrow, but it might just be the perspective. in any case, very impressive!

  • Yes a tad, I think they say the bar should be 8cm above the head. This would force the chest forward and arch the back more... Whatever is comfortable though.

  • that's hot!

  • That is impressive. All girls should do this!

  • good lift

  • Awesome form. You rock!

  • Nice bottom... position, hehehehe ;)

  • what's a roter cuff?
